Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for a regenerative braking and powertrain pedal system. The powertrain system includes an electric motor that is configured to generate regenerative energy and provide a regenerative braking torque. The powertrain system includes an electronic control unit coupled to the electric motor. The electronic control unit is configured to cause an accelerator pedal to rotate about its pivot point to increase a total available stroke in response to an energy recovery mode being activated. The electronic control unit is configured to control an amount of the regenerative braking torque to be applied using an accelerator pedal position. The electronic control unit is configured to cause the accelerator pedal to rotate about its pivot point to decrease the total available stroke in response to the energy recovery mode being deactivated.

Abstract: A motor control system for use in an electric vehicle includes an accelerator lever operable by a user, a controller configured or programmed to control an electric motor to generate a drive power to drive the electric vehicle, wherein a rotation speed of the electric motor is increased in response to an increase in a first rotation angle in a first rotation direction of the accelerator lever from a reference position of the accelerator lever, and a first torsion spring including a coil portion inside of which a rotation shaft of the accelerator lever extends to apply a first elastic force in a second rotation direction opposite to the first rotation direction. The controller is configured or programmed to perform a control to stop the electric motor upon detecting that the first rotation angle is equal to or greater than a first predetermined rotation angle.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an automatic correction device for erroneous acceleration of an automobile, which includes an accelerator pedal, a robotic arm, and an acceleration sensor. The acceleration sensor is connected to a central control computer of the automobile. An error correction control box is arranged on a front cab baffle in front of the robotic arm. An elastic damper having a signal switch is arranged on a side wall of the error correction control box directly facing the robotic arm. The accelerator pedal enables the robotic arm abuts against the elastic damper. When excessive depression is applied, the elastic damper is compressed and deformed by the robotic arm and triggers the signal switch. After the signal switch is triggered, a clear warning sound or a humming sound is sent to prompt a driver to stop the excessive depression.
