摘要: A badge assembly comprises a badge, a cushion and a cable. The badge has a front surface and a rear surface, a cable mounting point located on the rear surface and at least one alignment prong extending from the rear surface. The cushion includes padding and a substrate, a cable routing hole extending through at least the padding, the badge being seated in the padding over cable routing hole and the at least one alignment prong extending into the padding adjacent the cable routing hole. The cable extends through the cable routing hole and has a first end connected the cable mounting hoop in the cable mounting hole and a second end fastened to the substrate, a tension of the cable holding the badge at a recessed depth within the padding. The cable has a predetermined length to set the desired depth.

摘要: A seat of the present invention can prevent wrinkles of a cover at a curved part of an inward-suspending portion and improve attaching workability of inward-suspending member while keeping manufacturing cost low. An inward-suspending portion of a cover has a linear part and a curved part continuous with each other. An inward-suspending member has a rigid part attached to one edge of a main body. The main body of the inward-suspending member is superposed on the inward-suspending portion of the cover in a state where the rigid part of the inward-suspending member is spaced by a predetermined distance outwards from the end edge extending in the longitudinal direction of the inward-suspending portion and a part of the second edge on the upper side of the main body is overlapped to the cover. At a sewing portion, the main body is sewn continuously to the inward-suspending portion, from a linear part to a curved part.

摘要: A seat back panel includes a panel main body and a separate panel. The panel main body is disposed at a posterior portion of a seat back of a vehicle seat. The panel main body structures a portion of a main body portion of a seat back frame. An aperture is formed at a location of the panel main body that opposes a dorsal region of a seat occupant. The separate panel is attached to the main body portion and closes up the aperture. At a time of rear-end collision of the vehicle, the separate panel receives a load from the dorsal region of the seat occupant and relatively displaces toward the rear side of the seat back with respect to the panel main body.

The seat assembly includes a seat cushion (22) and a seat back (24). Each of the plurality of sensors (32) measures a force applied to the seat cushion (22) by an occupant of the seat assembly. The posture classifier identifies a posture of the occupant based on the distribution of forces applied to each of the plurality of sensors (32). The weight classification system identifies a weight class of the occupant based on the posture and the magnitude of forces applied to each of the plurality of sensors (32).
