Abstract: A vehicle is disclosed that includes: a passenger seating area; a seat that is repositionable (e.g., movable, slidable) within the passenger seating area; an electromechanical system that is located beneath the seat and which is configured to support movement and/or reconfiguration of the seat; and a storage compartment that defines a receptacle for at least one personal accessory. The storage compartment is configured to conceal the electromechanical system to reduce the visibility thereof and is unitary in construction. The storage compartment is removably connected to the seat such that the storage compartment is fixed in relation to the seat but movable concomitantly with the seat during repositioning of the seat within the passenger seating area.

Abstract: A delivery container is designed to fit into the rear passenger compartment of a vehicle, such as an autonomous vehicle (AV) that makes deliveries without a human driver. The delivery container includes a base, two sides, and a top. The sides are angled and the top is smaller than the base, which creates a large opening that is easy for a user to access and can adequately store large or bulky goods. The delivery container may be accessed from either side of the vehicle, and may include a drawer for moving items from one side of the vehicle to the other, so that items may be easily accessed from either side.

Abstract: A vehicle ignition interlock device comprises a vehicle ignition locking circuit which relies upon Bluetooth® pairing with a matching cellular phone to enable the ignition. The device is housed in a plastic enclosure having inside a Bluetooth® connection module and a relay that are interconnected to wiring. External wiring then connects the device to vehicle power, ignition interlock, and a valet switch. A valet switch allows the device to be overridden. During initial installation or setup, the device is paired with authorized cellular phones. During use, the owner approaches the vehicle whereupon the device automatically pairs with the phone and enables the ignition. Should the phone not be present, the vehicle will not start.
