    Abstract: Protective padding (1) for a bar (10) of a rollcage (100) of a vehicle (200) comprising a honeycomb cellular structure (2), a base sheet layer (4), an outer sheet layer (11), and connecting means (3) configured to connect the honeycomb cellular structure (2) to said bar (10); wherein said honeycomb cellular structure (2) comprises a plurality of interconnected open cells (8) having longitudinal axes (L) arranged so that, when the honeycomb cellular structure (2) is connected to the bar (10), part of said longitudinal axes (L) are oriented outwardly with respect to the bar (10) and towards the interior of the rollcage (100); said open cells (8) being configured to absorb energy by plastic deformation in response to a compressive load compressing the honeycomb cellular structure (2) against the bar (10); wherein the base sheet layer (4) is attached to a base face (15) of the honeycomb cellular structure (2) facing the outer surface (13) of the bar (10) and the outer sheet layer (11) is attached to a top face (16) of the honeycomb cellular structure (2) that is opposite to the base face (15).

    Abstract: A ROPS frame for a work vehicle includes: a first pipe having an end; a second pipe having an end facing the end of the first pipe; a plate-shaped first joint coupled to the end of the first pipe and oriented orthogonally to a longitudinal direction of the pipes; a plate-shaped second joint coupled to the end of the second pipe and oriented orthogonally to the longitudinal direction of the pipes, the second joint being placed on the first joint; and a bolt extending through the first and second joints and fastening the first and second joints to each other.

    Abstract: A work vehicle includes a driver section including a driver seat, an air conditioner, and a duct to supply conditioned air from the air conditioner. The air conditioner is below an upper end of the driver seat. The duct includes a vertical portion extending upward from the air conditioner and rearward of the driver seat, and a horizontal portion extending from an upper end portion of the vertical portion to a position forward of the driver in the driver seat in a side view. The duct includes, at a portion forward of the driver, an outlet to blow conditioned air toward the driver.

A length in a width direction between a pair of left and right rear wheels is changed by changing a length in a width direction of the upper frame and changing a fastening position of the base to the rear axle case.

    Abstract: A method of assembling a frame for a personal electric vehicle includes assembling a safety cage defining an occupant interior by attaching together a plurality of tubular members including at least two left pillars and two right pillars each having lower end portions positioned along respective sides of the occupant interior. The method further includes positioning a floorpan adjacent a bottom of the occupant interior, the floorpan having a floorpan left side adjacent the lower end portions of the left pillars and a floorpan right side adjacent the lower end portions of the right pillars. Thereafter, the method includes fixing a left inboard surface of each left pillar to the floorpan left side and fixing a right inboard surface of each right pillar to the floorpan right side for securing the safety cage to the floorpan.
