    摘要： A system for a two-piece armored cab includes an upper cab portion, a lower cab portion, and a vehicle chassis system. The upper cab portion and the lower cab portion are armored to provide protection to occupants of the cab system. The upper cab portion removably mates to the lower cab portion at a mating line that comprises a lower edge of the upper cab portion and an upper edge of the lower cab portion. The lower cab portion is mounted to the vehicle chassis system such that the vehicle chassis system is operable when the upper cab portion is removed from the lower cab portion as well as when the upper cab portion is mated to the lower cab portion.

    摘要： A weather guard for an open-sided golf cart or similar vehicle. The weather guard may include a roller mount, and an elongated roller rotatably mounted to the roller mount, the roller defining a roller axis. A transparent, flexible curtain may be secured to the roller. A support may be attached to the roller mount, such that the support attaches the weather guard to a vehicle, with the support extending from the mount generally perpendicular to the roller axis and includes a hook formation designed to hook at least partially around a roof support of the vehicle. At least one guard fastening mechanism may be attached to the roller mount for attaching the weather guard to the vehicle, the guard fastening mechanism being designed to extend through a grab handle provided on the vehicle.

    摘要： An improved mounting for a cab to the frame of a vehicle wherein controls of the vehicle are resiliently mounted to the frame prior to the installation of the cab thereover. The cab includes a floor portion having openings adapted to permit the controls to extend upwardly therethrough. The cab may include additional portions mounted to the floor portion in the completed assembly of the vehicle with the additional portions defining enclosure portions for the controls. Upon installation of the cab, the controls may be rigidly secured thereto, permitting removal of the resilient mounting structure, as desired. The cab sections may be selectively installed so as to provide any one of a plurality of different cab arrangements. The temporary mounting of the controls by the resilient mounting structure permits the vehicle to be operated prior to the installation of the cab thereon for facilitated manufacture of the vehicle.
