The method also includes heating the panel material assembly. Additionally, in another aspect of the present subject matter, a linear panel includes a body formed from a multi-layer panel material assembly having differing inner and outer material layers.

摘要: An elastic laminate is provided including outer facing layers of a fabric and, located between the outer facing layers, a series of individual, spaced apart strips of elastic film extending continuously along the direction of elasticity. The film strips are formed by a controlled tearing of a continuous film while the film is biaxially stretched and bonded to the fabric facings. The fabric facings have gathers formed therein that allow the elastic laminate to stretch at least to the extent that the gathers can be pulled flat.

摘要: A multilayer board includes laminates. Each of the laminates includes a liquid crystal polymer substrate and a metal layer. Each of the liquid crystal polymer substrates has a melting point. When a number of the liquid crystal polymer substrates is an odd number, they include a first middle substrate that is located in the most middle position and has a first melting point lowest among the melting points. The melting points increase in a direction away from the first middle substrate. When the number of the liquid crystal polymer substrates is an even number, they include second and third middle substrates that are located in the most middle position and respectively have second and third melting points that are substantially same. The second or third melting point is lowest among the melting points. The melting points increase in a direction away from the second and third middle substrates.

摘要: A method for joining quartz pieces using metallic aluminum as the joining element. The aluminum may be placed between two quartz pieces and the assembly may be heated in the range of 500 C to 650 C. The joining atmosphere may be non-oxygenated. A method for the joining of quartz pieces which may include barrier layers on the quartz pieces. The barrier layers may be impervious to aluminum diffusion and may be of a metal oxide or metal nitride. The quartz pieces with the barrier layers may then be joined at temperatures higher than 650 C and less than 1200 C. A device such as an RF antenna or electrode in support of semiconductor processing using joined quartz pieces wherein the aluminum joining layer which has joined the pieces and also functions as antenna electrode.

摘要: The present disclosure includes a process for making a package having a spout. The process includes heating a sealing area of a spout to a temperature at or above a melting point of the spout material; heating two multilayer structures around a portion of their peripheries to adhere the peripheries of sealant layers and form a partially sealed package having an opening; inserting the heated spout into the opening; and pressing opposing surfaces of the two multilayer structures around the spout to close the opening around the spout. Each multilayer structure includes a multilayer film having the sealant layer having at least 40% by weight of an ethylene-based polymer having a melting point below 112 C; an external layer including an ethylene-based polymer; and at least one intermediate layer disposed between the sealant layer and the external layer having a melting point at least 15 C higher than the sealant layer.
