Abstract: A method and an Intelligent Transportation System “ITS” module (110) for handling an ITS message are disclose. The ITS module (110) is configured for sending the ITS message over at least one of a second ITS station interface and a first ITS station interface towards an ITS station (121) and over an ITS server interlace to an ITS server (130). The ITS module (110) receives (A040) information relating to the ITS message over the second ITS station interface or the ITS server interface. Then, the ITS module (110) determines (A060) to send the ITS message over at least the first ITS station interface when the information relating to the ITS message was received over the second ITS station interface or the ITS server interface. Next, the ITS module (110) sends (A070), towards the ITS station (121), the ITS message over said determined at least the first ITS station interface. A corresponding computer program and a computer program carrier are also disclosed.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for providing distributed caching in a transactional processing environment. The caching system can include a plurality of layers that provide a caching feature for a plurality of data types, and can be configured for use with a plurality of caching providers. A common data structure can be provided to store serialized bytes of each data type, and architecture information of a source platform executing a cache-setting application, so that a cache-getting application can use the information to convert the serialized bytes to a local format. A proxy server can be provided to act as a client to a distributed in-memory grid, and advertise services to a caching client, where each advertised service can match a cache in the distributed in-memory data grid, such as Coherence. The caching system can be used to cache results from a service.

Abstract: Certain embodiments provide systems and methods to perform in-line translation of message content according to FIX protocol variants in a trading system. An example method includes receiving, at a computing device, a message formatted according to a FIX protocol, the message including message content and a message wrapper, the message wrapper providing session and delivery information for the message to a target. The example method includes performing in-line translation of the message content of the received message to adjust the message content according to a predefined set of rules without affecting the message wrapper (with the possible exception of the message size) and message routing session. The example method includes facilitating routing of the message to the target based on the message wrapper.

Abstract: In some examples, a server may receive a data file from one or more computing devices, and may store the data file at a storage system provided by a data storage service. The server may determine a number of copies of the data file to be stored at the storage system based on a number of a set of computing devices that store the data file. For example, the set of computing devices may be outside of the storage system, and the determined number of copies of the data file to be stored at the storage system may decrease when the number of the set of computing devices that store the data file increases. Additionally, the server may adjust the number of copies of the data file stored at the storage system based on the determined number of copies of the data file.

Abstract: A video segment can be shared over a computer network by first receiving the video segment at a receiving computer on the network. The receiving computer assures that the video segment is in a streaming video format, and creates at least one identification tag for the video segment. The receiving computer also stores the video segment, and communicates the identification tag to another computer on the network. Upon subsequent receipt of that identification tag, the receiving computer streams the video segment to a destination computer on the network.

Abstract: Exemplary methods, apparatuses, and systems include a proxy intercepting, from a client, a plurality of requests addressed to a first server. The proxy adds an entry for each of the plurality of requests to a data structure. Each entry includes data from one of the plurality of requests. The proxy forwards each of the plurality of requests to the first server. In response to detecting the first server was unavailable or otherwise failed, the proxy reconnects to the first server when the first server recovers or connects to a second server serving as a backup for the first server. The proxy transmits to the first or second server one or more commands using the entries of the data structure to restore state information for the client.

Abstract: An extensible single point orchestration system receives service requests from applications. In dependence upon the service request a single third party provider service or multiple third party provider services is identified. When the single third party provider service is identified, the system dynamically adapts a core capability service, using a stored configuration entity, so as to set an appropriate message format and transmit a service call message to an external API of the identified single third party provider service. When multiple third party provider services are identified, the system dynamically adapts the core capability service, using another stored configuration entity, so as to set a respective appropriate message format for parallel data transmission of service call messages to each of the respective identified third party provider services and transmits the service call messages to respective external APIs of each of the third party provider services.
