The method includes the steps of checking for the presence of a cookie in the browser associated with a third-party domain, and in the absence of the third-party cookie, the method includes redirecting the browser from the first-party domain to the third-party domain and, in response, returning from the third-party domain, a fixed value cookie for storage in the browser.

Abstract: Systems, devices methods and media are provided for selecting data received from or sent by a client device. In one example, a system is configured to initiate a user-configurable API data endpoint on the client device and issue a request for access to specified data residing on the client device. The specified data resides in a first user-designated storage area on the client device. In response to receiving an authorization by a user of the client device of the access request, the system communicates with the user-configurable API data endpoint on the client device to perform a data-pull of at least some of the requested specified data from a second user-designated data pull portion of data residing on the client device.

Abstract: A method for third-party authorization is presented. A client request is received by a resource server in a computer system from a client, wherein the client request includes an access token. An introspection request for the access token based on the client request. The introspection gateway uses a third-party authorization server from a plurality of third-party authorization servers to handle the introspection request. A resource server response is received from the introspection gateway, wherein the resource server response identifies a set of scopes for the access token. A determination is made as to whether the access token has sufficient scope from the resource server response. In response to the access token having the sufficient scope, the client is granted access to the resource server.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for providing distributed caching in a transactional processing environment. The caching system can include a plurality of layers that provide a caching feature for a plurality of data types, and can be configured for use with a plurality of caching providers. A common data structure can be provided to store serialized bytes of each data type, and architecture information of a source platform executing a cache-setting application, so that a cache-getting application can use the information to convert the serialized bytes to a local format. A proxy server can be provided to act as a client to a distributed in-memory grid, and advertise services to a caching client, where each advertised service can match a cache in the distributed in-memory data grid, such as Coherence. The caching system can be used to cache results from a service.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer-readable storage medium for a reconfigurable computing system are disclosed. One method involves configuring one or more computing resources (selected according to a workflow that specifies an application to be executed) of a computing node and executing, using the one or more computing resources, at least a portion of an application at the computing node. Abstract: Managing rendering of a graphical user interface is provided. A system receives data packets comprising an input audio signal. The system determines an application identifier and query. The system provides the query to the application to cause the application to generate a second query for transmission to a third-party server, and identify responses to the query. The system intercepts the responses, and generates a keyword based on the responses. The system selects a digital component using the keyword, executes a deduplication process, and determines to add the digital component to the responses. The system constructs a display output using a graphical user interface template that integrates the plurality of responses generated by the application with the digital component, and provides the display output to the computing device for rendering.

Abstract: A user device described herein suggests a change to a quality setting associated with the consumption of content from one or more content providers. The change is suggested based both on a user's data plan and on a service quality of content received by the user device. This user-selected quality setting is then provided to the telecommunication network, which reduces network resources available for transmission of the content based on the quality setting. Such reduced network resources cause the content providers to provide content at a service quality no greater than the quality setting. Also, the user may be presented with or defaulted to selecting an option for a program offering consumption of the video content free of charge when provided to the user at a limited service quality. When the user participates, consumption of video content is then conditionally excluded from a consumption metric of the data plan.
