    Abstract: An electromagnetic shield includes a plate-shaped base and first projecting portions. The base has a first surface and a second surface, the first surface being configured to allow an electromagnetic wave to be incident on the first surface. The second surface is distant from the first surface and extends along the first surface. The electromagnetic shield includes a dielectric. In the electromagnetic shield, at least one of the first projecting portions has a side including a first point and a second point, the side makes different inclination angles with a projecting direction of the first projecting portion at the first point and the second point. In the projecting direction of the first projecting portion, the second point is closer to the first surface-than the first point is. On the side, an inclination angle β is greater than an inclination angle α.

    Abstract: Provided is a wave control medium capable of controlling waves while decreasing the size of a metamaterial or the like and increasing the bandwidth of the metamaterial or the like.
    A wave control medium 10 is formed by combining at least two among a coil 11 and a coil 12 which are three-dimensional microstructures formed into a spiral structure, the coil 11 and the coil 12 including any one of a metal, a dielectric material, a magnetic material, a semiconductor, and a superconductor, or a material selected from a plurality of combinations of these materials, and having functions of a capacitor and an inductor. The coil 11 and the coil 12 form a capacitor between the lateral face of the coil 11 and the lateral face of the coil 12 facing each other, and form an inductor by forming a three-dimensional multiple resonance structure by the coil 11 and the coil 12 having a spiral structure.

    Abstract: An array antenna includes an upper dielectric plate, a middle dielectric plate and a lower dielectric plate disposed from top to bottom, and the middle dielectric plate comprises a metasurface structure formed by a liquid crystal material. The metasurface structure may include a liquid crystal material layer, a digital radiation assembly printed on the liquid crystal material layer, and a direct current bias wire. The digital radiation assembly may include M×M digital radiation units arranged in an array, each of the digital radiation units comprises N×N indium tin oxide (ITO) radiation patches arranged in an array, and ITO radiation patches arranged in a same row are connected by the direct current bias wire.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is an antenna device that includes a filter layer, an antenna layer, a divider layer, and ground patterns. The antenna layer has first and second radiation conductors and first and second ground pillars that surround the first and second radiation conductors, respectively. Each of the first and second ground patterns has a first area that overlaps a first space surrounded by the first ground pillars, a second area that overlaps a second space surrounded by the plurality of second ground pillars, and a third area that connects the first and second areas. A width of the third area in a width direction perpendicular to an arrangement direction of the first and second areas is smaller than a width of each of the first and second areas in the width direction.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides an antenna system. The antenna system includes a first antenna and a second antenna. The first antenna includes a first radome, a first radiating assembly, and a feed network. The second antenna includes a second radome and a second radiating assembly. The feed network is disposed on a side part of the groove, and the feed network is disposed in the first radome and is connected to the first radiating assembly. The second radome has a second outer surface, the second radiating assembly is disposed in the second radome, and at least a part of the second outer surface extends into the groove. In the antenna system provided in this disclosure, when the first antenna and the second antenna are used in combination, a thickness size is not significantly increased.
