Abstract: Systems and methods for managing data at a gateway device receiving sensor data is discussed. An in-memory persistent database can provide a common application programming interface (API) for pushing data from one or more drivers that receive sensor data over various communication protocols. The common API can also be utilized by a data sender application to pull data from the in-memory persistent database and send the pulled data to a remote server such as a cloud storage. The in-memory persistent database stores the sensor data in time ordered pipeline data structures. A configuration data structure is maintained for each set of sensors and can be accessed and modified using the common API.

Abstract: Described embodiments provide systems and methods of maintaining message queues during deployments of application updates. A queue manager may maintain a first message queue including a first channel for messages between a first release and a second release. The first release and the second release may write to and read from the first message queue. The queue manager may establish, responsive to deployments, a second message queue including a second channel for messages between the first release and the second release. The queue manager may transfer, from the first message queue to the second message queue, the first channel. The first release and the second release may cease to write to and read from the first message queue.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to systems and methods for executing a caching procedure for a web cache that is utilized by an electronic platform storing a plurality of clusters. The caching procedure may comprise retrieving a priming cutoff parameter that identifies a timeframe, utilizing the priming cutoff parameter to identify a subset of clusters that have been added or updated within the timeframe, and priming the web cache with content associated with the subset of clusters. The content in the web cache can be transmitted in response to receiving requests for the content. Other embodiments are disclosed herein.

Abstract: An optimization platform system includes a network interface configured to communicate with a plurality user devices and a plurality of servers in a network; a processor communicatively coupled to the network interface; and memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to obtain network measurements including Quality of Service (QoS) measurements and one of measured Quality of Experience (QoE) measurements and inferred QoE measurements from the QoS measurements for one or more streams in the network, wherein each of the one or more streams has a type selected from a group consisting of a video stream, a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) call, a gaming stream, and an Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR) stream, and wherein the QoE measurements and the inferred QoE measurements of each of the one or more streams is based on the type of the respective stream, analyze the QoE measurements to determine poor QoE in the network, determine remedial actions in the network to repair the poor QoE, and cause implementation in the network.

Abstract: A method and system for streaming multimedia data over a communication network. Live multimedia content is divided into multiple data chunks. Each generated data chunk: has a first chunk size, is associated with a respective portion of the live multimedia content, and is indexed according to a time associated with the live multimedia content such that each data chunk is associated with a unique time at which each data chunk begins. The data chunks having the first chunk size are stored as the data chunks having the first chunk size are being generated. The stored data chunks having the first chunk size, starting at the one stored data chunk, are converted to data chunks having a second chunk size that differs from the first chunk size. Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for a distributed stateful load balancer. A first load balancer can store a first portion of a distributed hash table including data over a first range of hash keys. The first load balancer can be in communication with a second load balancer that stores a second portion of the distributed hash table including data over a second range of hash keys. The first load balancer can receive a packet, where a hash value calculated for the packet does not fall in the first range of hash keys. The first load balancer can identify, based on the hash value, that the second load balancer stores data that identifies a path associated with the packet and query the second load balancer to identify the path. The first load balancer can receive the data and forward, along the path, the packet to a network element.

Abstract: A method and system is provided for controlling bandwidth rate limiting and client rendering rate limiting in a video delivery network. The method provides network service providers with a means for overriding video delivery data rates selected through dynamic client bitrate adaptation, as well as video data rendering rates of the clients, to limit the impact of network congestion. A system is also specified for implementing a client and a proxy computer in accordance with the method. The system works transparently with standard HTTP-based video delivery systems and includes an HTTP proxy cache infrastructure to support bandwidth rate limiting and client rending rate limiting. The system further provides for administrative overrides of client bitrate selection and client bandwidth usage.
