    Abstract: A system for operating a cross-vertical service comprises a processor and memory storing instructions that cause the processor to effectuate operations. The operations include receiving, at the cross-vertical service, a registration of a first device from a first vertical service associated with the first device and registering the cross-vertical service with a second vertical service. The operations include retrieving data from the second vertical service and monitoring a characteristic of the first device. The operations include, based on at least one of the data and the characteristic, communicating a trigger to the second vertical service to effect an action. In response to the trigger, the second vertical service performs the action.

    Abstract: A SPOC server receives a request to initiate a transaction utilizing multiple separate distributed cloud based services located on separate datacenters, from an endpoint. The SPOC server generates a transaction identifier for the transaction. The SPOC server transmits the generated transaction identifier to the endpoint. Receipt of the generated transaction identifier directs the endpoint to call each one of the separate services, with the transaction identifier. Over time, the SPOC server receives a separate service completion notification with the generated transaction identifier from each one of the separate services. Each separate service completion notification indicates that the corresponding service has completed. Only in response to receiving a separate service completion notification from each one of the separate distributed cloud based services, the SPOC server transmits a transaction completion notification with the generated transaction identifier to the endpoint. The transaction completion notification indicates that the transaction is complete.

    Abstract: In some embodiments, a cloud-based services architecture may receive operating data from a set of enterprise system devices. The cloud-based services architecture may include a tenant-specific space and an orchestration run-time execution service to manage creation and execution of a first and a second custom analytic model in the tenant-specific space. Moreover, the first analytic model may be customized to run as a service having: (i) some of the received operational data as an input, and (ii) a result of a first analytics process as an output. The second analytic model may be customized to run as a service having: (i) the output of the first analytic model as an input, and (ii) a result of a second analytics process as an output. According to some embodiments, the input of the second analytic model is received from the first analytic model without leaving the tenant-specific space.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for brokering storage services are disclosed. In one embodiment, the brokering system stores a mapping of stored data sets to online storage providers. The system can monitor one or more metrics associated with a plurality of online storage providers, identify one or more provider criteria associated with a first customer account, and obtain one or more metrics of a first storage provider storing a first data set associated with the first customer account. The system can determine whether to migrate the first data set based in part on the monitored metrics, the metrics of the first storage provider and the provider criteria. The system can auto-initiating migration of the first data set from the first storage provider to one or more selected storage providers of the plurality of online storage providers and update the mapping for the first data set.
