Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method are described for a secure IoT wireless network configuration. For example, one embodiment of an Internet of Things (IoT) hub comprises: a local wireless communication interface to establish local wireless connections with one or more IoT devices and/or IoT extender hubs; a network router to establish network connections over the Internet on behalf of the IoT devices and/or IoT extender hubs; an authentication module pre-configured with a passphrase and a hidden service set identifier (SSID), the authentication module to receive a connection requests from the IoT devices and/or an IoT extender hubs and to grant the connection requests when the IoT devices and/or IoT extender hubs use the pre-configured passphrase and hidden SSID; and a firewall of the IoT hub to block all outgoing and incoming connection requests other than those directed to designated servers of an IoT service with known host names.

Abstract: A system for operating a cross-vertical service comprises a processor and memory storing instructions that cause the processor to effectuate operations. The operations include receiving, at the cross-vertical service, a registration of a first device from a first vertical service associated with the first device and registering the cross-vertical service with a second vertical service. The operations include retrieving data from the second vertical service and monitoring a characteristic of the first device. The operations include, based on at least one of the data and the characteristic, communicating a trigger to the second vertical service to effect an action. In response to the trigger, the second vertical service performs the action.

The event is received by the controller at a time the event occurs. The controller can stream the event including the set of data. A central system can receive the at least one event streamed by the controller. The central system can include a repository cluster, a relational database, and a NoSQL database. The central system can concurrently route the set of data included in the event to the repository cluster, the relational database and the NoSQL database of the event response system to store the set of data in the repository cluster, the relational database and the NoSQL database.

Abstract: Methods and registrar computers for negotiating communications between a virtual device and a virtual requestor device. The method includes receiving a data feed request at a registrar computer from a registered virtual requestor device. The data feed request includes information identifying a data feed and information enabling communication between a registered virtual device associated with the data feed and the virtual requestor device. The registrar sends a further data feed request comprising the information enabling communication between the devices to the virtual device. This causes the virtual device to provide the data feed to the virtual device using the information enabling communication between the devices.

The processor(s) establishes a direct communications connection between the first gateway and the second gateway, based on the configurations matching.

Abstract: A SPOC server receives a request to initiate a transaction utilizing multiple separate distributed cloud based services located on separate datacenters, from an endpoint. The SPOC server generates a transaction identifier for the transaction. The SPOC server transmits the generated transaction identifier to the endpoint. Receipt of the generated transaction identifier directs the endpoint to call each one of the separate services, with the transaction identifier. Over time, the SPOC server receives a separate service completion notification with the generated transaction identifier from each one of the separate services. Each separate service completion notification indicates that the corresponding service has completed. Only in response to receiving a separate service completion notification from each one of the separate distributed cloud based services, the SPOC server transmits a transaction completion notification with the generated transaction identifier to the endpoint. The transaction completion notification indicates that the transaction is complete.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a cloud-based services architecture may receive operating data from a set of enterprise system devices. The cloud-based services architecture may include a tenant-specific space and an orchestration run-time execution service to manage creation and execution of a first and a second custom analytic model in the tenant-specific space. Moreover, the first analytic model may be customized to run as a service having: (i) some of the received operational data as an input, and (ii) a result of a first analytics process as an output. The second analytic model may be customized to run as a service having: (i) the output of the first analytic model as an input, and (ii) a result of a second analytics process as an output. According to some embodiments, the input of the second analytic model is received from the first analytic model without leaving the tenant-specific space.

Abstract: A computer server platform application for analyzing a capability of a message oriented transaction system. The platform application includes a first server having a performance driver utility for sending a plurality of transactions through a queue manager as messages having a payload and a correlation identification. The performance driver utility calculates and records a completion time for each transaction sent. A backend utility within the first server is for receiving each transaction sent, converting each payload into a reply message, and sending the reply message to a reply queue destination. A graphing utility contained within the first server is for displaying the completion time for each transaction and an average number of transactions per unit of time for a total number of transactions tested. The performance driver utility is further for displaying categories of possible transaction delays and resolutions of the delays.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and method for service matching of IM software, which is adapted for operating between a plurality of user devices and a plurality of IM software supplier servers. The IM software supplier server provides at least one IM software associated service. The user device merely installs one of the plurality of IM software, and the user device can access services provided by different IM software supplier servers. Abstract: Systems and methods for brokering storage services are disclosed. In one embodiment, the brokering system stores a mapping of stored data sets to online storage providers. The system can monitor one or more metrics associated with a plurality of online storage providers, identify one or more provider criteria associated with a first customer account, and obtain one or more metrics of a first storage provider storing a first data set associated with the first customer account. The system can determine whether to migrate the first data set based in part on the monitored metrics, the metrics of the first storage provider and the provider criteria. The system can auto-initiating migration of the first data set from the first storage provider to one or more selected storage providers of the plurality of online storage providers and update the mapping for the first data set.
