    Abstract: Embodiments automate the timely remediation of issues by matching failed operations to a script that is configured to fix the problem or problems without causing additional side effects, thus minimizing unavailability of services and loss of data. A method detects a backup operation alert message sent from a data manager or storage system that encodes one or more attributes affected by the backup operation, wherein the attributes are weighted to reflect a percentage importance of the a corresponding script to fix the problem. A script library is scanned to identify scripts that match the alert message. A component generates a score for each script, where the score factors the relevance of the script to the backup operation based on the weighted attributes, and executes the script with the highest score, as the script most likely to fix the issue causing the alert message.

    Abstract: A computer that provides one or more verified personas for a distributed token (such as a non-fungible token or NFT) of a first user is described. Notably, the computer may provide the one or more verified personas for the first user that are based at least in part on their account(s) with a provider of a secure, virtual private network (SVPN) of the first user. Consequently, the identity of the first user may be known to the provider. However, the one or more verified personas may obfuscate the known identity of the first user when conducting one or more discrete secure transactions (such as a transaction associated with a cryptocurrency or the NFT) using or associated with the distributed token. In particular, the first user may associate or link the one or more verified personas with the distributed token, thereby providing the benefits of privacy and selective (as-needed) identification.

A first recovery instruction is sent to a second memory subsystem of the plurality of memory subsystems.     Abstract: A circuit includes a primary register region and a primary shadow register; a secondary register region and a secondary shadow register; and a safety controller having multiple states. The safety controller transitions to a first write state when a first write signal to write a first value to the primary register region is detected, and copies the first value written to the primary register region to the primary shadow register; transitions to a second write state when a second write signal to write a second value to the secondary register region is detected within a set amount of time of detection of the first write signal, and in the second write state, copies the second value written to the secondary register region to the secondary shadow register; transitions to a compare state to receive a comparison signal indicating whether the first value is the same as the second value; and transitions to an update state when the first value is the same as the second value.

    Abstract: A storage device write-read error reduction system includes a computing device that includes a storage device. The storage device determines, at a temperature that is within a predefined temperature range, that a storage device background operation should be performed and, in response, identifies data that is stored in the storage device and that was written to the storage device outside the predefined temperature range. The storage device then prioritizes the data that was written to the storage device outside the predefined temperature range over data that was written to the storage device within the predefined temperature range and, based on that prioritization, performs the storage device background operation to rewrite the data to the storage device.

    Abstract: A mechanism for error containment in a data processing system includes receiving a transaction request at a gateway between a host and a device, allocating an entry for the request in a local request tracker of the gateway and sending a link request, to a port of the gateway. In response to an isolation trigger, the port is moved into isolation by completing in-process requests with entries in the tracker and locking the entries. On receiving a response to an in-process request while the port is in isolation, the response is dropped, the associated entry is unlocked, and allocation of the entry is enabled. A completion response is sent to the requester without dispatching a new link request to the port. When requests are completed, the system is quiesced, locked entries are unlocked, and the port is moved out of isolation.
