摘要: A biomarker, for diagnosing pancreatic cancer, including asprosin, and the use thereof, has been confirmed that: the survival prognosis of a pancreatic cancer patient is worse in the case of a higher expression of FBN-1 gene encoding fibrillin-1 which is the precursor of asprosin in a clinical information database; an asprosin level at a cell level is related to an occurrence of pancreatic cancer; and the asprosin level in the blood of a pancreatic cancer patient or an early stage pancreatic cancer patient is higher than that of a healthy person.

摘要: A method for initiating a telemedicine conference on a mobile device is provided. The method comprises receiving diagnostic test results in response to a diagnostic test, determining if the diagnostic test results include a positive result, storing the diagnostic test results on a server disposed on a network, presenting, if the diagnostic test results are positive, a telemedicine initiation option on a screen of the mobile device, determining whether the telemedicine initiation option is selected, sending the diagnostic test results from the server to the telemedicine provider, sending additional medical history information to the telemedicine provider, and initiating a telemedicine conference with the telemedicine provider. Some of these aspects also provide healthcare providers the ability to electronically send prescriptions and provide users the ability to use a mobile application to send prescriptions to pharmacies to be filled.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for diagnosing mood disorder such as mania, depression and mania mixed using a circadian rhythm. According to the diagnostic method of the present disclosure, the condition of mood disorder can be diagnosed objectively and clearly based on the advance or delay of the circadian rhythm. That is to say, hypomania, mania, depression, mixed mania, etc. may be determined quickly and adequately so that appropriate therapeutic intervention can be made. In addition, according to the diagnostic method of the present disclosure, schizophrenia which is frequently confused with severe depression or bipolar disorder can be distinguished clearly. In addition, the selection of a therapeutic drug can be benefited greatly through this.

摘要: The present invention is directed to antibodies and antigen binding fragments thereof having binding specificity for PACAP. The antibodies and antigen binding fragments thereof comprise the sequences of the VH, VL, and CDR polypeptides described herein, and the polynucleotides encoding them. Antibodies and antigen binding fragments described herein bind to and/or compete for binding to the same linear or conformational epitope(s) on human PACAP as an anti-PACAP antibody. The invention contemplates conjugates of anti-PACAP antibodies and binding fragments thereof conjugated to one or more functional or detectable moieties. Methods of making said anti-PACAP antibodies and antigen binding fragments thereof are also contemplated. Other embodiments of the invention contemplate using anti-PACAP antibodies, and binding fragments thereof, for the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of diseases and disorders associated with PACAP and conditions where antagonism of PACAP-related activities, such as vasodilation, photophobia, mast cell degranulation, and/or neuronal activation, would be therapeutically beneficial.

摘要: This invention relates to a low cost rapid response diagnostic system to determine cortisol levels in patients selected as potential candidates for GCR (glucocorticoid receptor) antagonist therapy utilizing a GCR antagonist, such as ORG 34517. The rapid, sensitive, and inexpensive test can be used to determine patients who have non-normal cortisol production or disordered circadian rhythms as a method for selecting subjects for GCR antagonist therapy for whom it is likely to have beneficial and/or therapeutic effects, and can also be used to monitor changes in cortisol levels in response to treatment.
