摘要: A method and a system for image-guided intervention such as a percutaneous treatment or diagnosis of a patient may include at least one of a pre-registration method and a re-registration method. The pre-registration method is configured to permit for an efficient virtual representation of a planned trajectory to target tissue during the intervention, for example, as a holographic light ray shown through an augmented reality system. In turn, this allows the operator to align a physical instrument such as a medical probe for the intervention. The re-registration method is configured to adjust for inaccuracy in the virtual representation generated by the pre-registration method, as determined by live imaging of the patient during the intervention. The re-registration method may employ the use of intersectional contour lines to define the target tissue as viewed through the augmented reality system, which permits for an unobstructed view of the target tissue for the intervention.

摘要: According to one embodiment, a method by which a device provides a service so as to enable cognitive function rehabilitation by using a virtual object model comprises the steps of: generating a virtual object model in a virtual space matched to correspond to a real space where a subject is located; generating a plurality of first preliminary stimuli for identifying egocentric neglect in the visual range of the subject on the basis of the virtual object model; obtaining and collecting first reaction information about whether the subject has recognized the first preliminary stimuli; determining an egocentric cognition range in which the subject can egocentrically recognize visual stimuli on the basis of the first reaction information; sequentially generating a plurality of second preliminary stimuli for identifying allocentric neglect in the egocentric cognition range on the basis of the virtual object model; obtaining and collecting second reaction information about whether the subject has recognized the second preliminary stimuli; determining an allocentric cognition range in which the subject can allocentrically recognize visual stimuli on the basis of the second reaction information; generating input stimuli for the subject in consideration of the egocentric cognition range and the allocentric cognition range; and obtaining and collecting third reaction information, according to a predetermined reaction operation of the subject, for the input stimuli.

摘要: A facial wearable device for providing external stimuli to a user comprises a foldable frame, a flexible layer, an airbag layer, a plurality of heating pads, a plurality of vibrating motors, and a sensor. The flexible layer may couple to a proximal side of the foldable frame and be configured to couple to a facial area of the user. The airbag layer may be disposed between the foldable frame and the flexible layer and comprise a plurality of inflatable bladders configured to provide pressure to the facial area of the user. The plurality of heating pads may couple to the flexible layer and be configured to provide heat to the facial area of the user. The plurality of vibrating motors may couple to the flexible layer and be configured to provide vibration to the facial area of the user. The sensor may couple to the flexible layer and be configured to detect biometric data of the user. At least one of the plurality of inflatable bladders, the plurality of heating pads, and the plurality of vibrating motors may be controlled based on the biometric data.

摘要: A surgical system, method and CAD program are provided for facilitating surgical planning. A digitization device has a pointer tip and one or more control inputs. A navigation system tracks the digitization device. The CAD program generates a virtual reference frame and receives the tracked state of the digitization device from the navigation system. The CAD program renders, within the virtual reference frame, a virtual representation of the pointer tip of the digitization device having a pose of the pointer tip derived from its tracked state. In response to actuation of the control input(s) of the digitization device, the CAD program registers local virtual reference(s) within the virtual reference frame at a location relative to the pose of the virtual representation of the pointer tip and enables arrangement of geometrical design object(s) within the virtual reference frame relative to the registered local virtual reference(s) to facilitate surgical planning.
