Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to systems, methods, and apparatus to objectively assess binocular dysfunction for screening, diagnoses, and evaluation of vision/oculomotor function before, during, and after various forms of therapeutic interventions. Systems and methods diagnose and assess binocular dysfunction objectively and automatically, can render a visual stimulus on one or more displays, and can control accommodative and proximal vergence stimulation of a user's eyes.

Abstract: The invention is a virtual reality head-mounted display device with built-in strabismus treatment and operation method thereof. The head-mounted display device detects the motion of the user's eyes to get a compensated angle for strabismus. The processing module can generate a compensated image by a compensated angle for the user. While virtual reality devices are operating, our proposed head-mounted display device automatically detects the movement of the user's eyes and increases or decreases the correction effect of the simulated prism diopter lens. The user uses the device for a long time that can reduce the user's strabismus degree and achieve visual correction and treatment.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system, method, and apparatus for quantification and feedback of eye deviations during normal viewing conditions. A sensory biofeedback system serves to emit a sensory cue such as a tone or vibration when a certain threshold of eye deviation has been exceeded. The biofeedback system allows objective monitoring of the accuracy of eye alignment that can be used outside of a clinical setting or inside a clinical setting.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a scene camera system including a scene camera that includes a lens and may detect light reflected off an exterior of an eye into the lens and send a signal corresponding to the detected light to a processor. The system further includes a main camera that may detect light reflected off an interior structure of the eye and send a signal corresponding to the detected light to the processor. The system also includes an image processing system including the processor that executes instructions to produce a scene camera digital image of the eye and a main camera digital image of the eye. The system further includes a multiple picture-in-picture display that displays the scene camera digital image of the eye and the main camera digital image of the eye concurrently.

Abstract: The exemplified systems and methods disclosed herein involve the contemporaneous and concurrent stimulation of both eyes of a patient with dissimilar visual scenes that substantially span an expected or normal visual field of both eyes. During an assessment via the exemplified system and methods, a test eye (i.e., eye being assessed) is presented a visual scene that is rich in contours (e.g., a scene with rich texture patterns) that substantially span an expected or normal visual field of a person while the non-tested eye is presented an impoverished visual scene (e.g., a contour-free or non-distinguishing-contour scene, e.g., with a homogeneous color, with respect to the contour-rich scene). Defects in the visual field can be detected by assessing for breaks or discontinuity in the observation of the contour-rich scene by the person.
