摘要: A method and system for providing a predicted driving condition to an electronic device associated with a current vehicle having a current vehicle characteristic. The method is executable on a server and comprises receiving an indication of the current vehicle approaching a road segment and the current vehicle characteristic; identifying a preceding vehicle which has a time of travel along the road segment before a current time, a time difference between the preceding vehicle time of travel and the current time being within a predetermined range, the preceding vehicle having a preceding vehicle characteristic; determining the predicted driving condition for the road segment, the predicted driving condition being based on the current vehicle characteristic and the preceding vehicle characteristic; and providing to the electronic device before the current vehicle reaches the road segment, the predicted driving condition for the current vehicle on the road segment.

The vehicle also includes a control system configured to determine whether the robotic driving device is activated, such that the vehicle is in robotic driving mode; receive a request by a prospective operator of the vehicle to deactivate the robotic driving device to initiate a manual driving mode; determine whether the prospective operator is impaired based on the data; and selectively grant or refuse the request based on the determination.

The processor may be configured to: receive, through the interface, driving information of the vehicle; and based on a determination that the vehicle is stopped in a first state in which the ISG is enabled or that the vehicle is stopped in a second state in which a gearshift of the vehicle is engaged in a Park (P) mode and an engine of the vehicle is turned on, perform a stopping operation for the vehicle based on the driving information of the vehicle.

The risk determining unit evaluates, for each of the plurality of locations, at least one evaluation subject among a plurality of evaluation subject including: a risk occurrence frequency at the location; a risk avoidability at the location; and a level of danger of the risk occurring at the location, based on a plurality of levels, and determines the risk involved in stopping at each location and the risk involved in passing through each location, based on evaluation results.

The vehicle includes a navigation unit, one or more sensors and an electronic control unit coupled to at least the navigation unit and the one or more sensors. The electronic control unit is configured to obtain navigational map information and vehicle information, determine a predicted route set including a destination location based on the the navigational map information and the vehicle information, determine one or more predicted acceleration events for the predicted route set, detect a respective acceleration event of the one or more predicted acceleration events based on the predicted route set and a first location of the vehicle and send or transmit a signal to a turbocharger that is coupled to an engine to prepare for the respective acceleration event.

摘要: A method for operating a navigation system for a motor vehicle with autopilot is disclosed, wherein the autopilot is designed to automatically carry out longitudinal and lateral guidance of the motor vehicle in the activated state during a piloted journey without assistance from a driver. The navigation system determines, for a destination prescribed by the user, a route to the destination on the basis of navigation data. The roads on which the activation of the autopilot is likely to be possible is determined using traffic data and on the basis of a predetermined activation condition for the autopilot.
