    摘要: A transcription network having linked computer terminals for a court reporter and for examining, defending, and associate attorneys is disclosed. Cross-reference libraries, phoneme libraries, phoneme dictionaries, and pronunciation indices are used by a reporter terminal to generate readable text transcripts which are communicated to the other terminals for real-time review. Cross-reference libraries provide for the bulk of the transcription while stenographic keystrokes that cannot be directly transcribed are converted to phoneme text or other pronounceable form for down-line readability. A common cross-reference library is provided to supplement local cross-reference libraries to aid transcription and to provide for standardization. The reporter terminal provides for update and preparation of the local cross-reference libraries using case law and evidence prior to a proceeding, as well as provides key-stroke training for the court reporter. Foreign language tables are also provided to service proceedings involving two or more languages.

    摘要: CW lock is conducted with less manual operation. A first input 22 receives a black burst (BB) signal from a key TV station. A second input 30 receives a continuous wave (CW) signal having an accurate, known frequency. A phase adjust signal generator 24 generates a reset signal having a known phase relationship with regard to the key TV station BB signal. The reset signal is used as a phase adjust signal. A PLL 32 receives the CW signal to provide clock. A counter 34 receives the clock and provides a frame pulse signal for synchronizing the key and local TV signals at a local TV station wherein the BB signal of the local station may be derived from the frame pulse signal. The counter 34 uses the reset signal to adjust the phase relationship between the key TV station BB signal and the frame pulse to a desired phase relationship based upon the key TV station BB signal.

    摘要: In high-end professional video cameras a triax system is used for transferring various signals back and forth over a single coaxial cable between the camera and a base unit using frequency multiplexing. In low-cost camera systems the analogue camera CVBS video output signal is replaced by a standard serial SDI signal from the camera to a base unit, having a maximum data rate of e.g. 270 Mbit/s for standard definition TV signals. According to the invention, the camera/base unit system is locked via SDI channels whereby the base unit video output is synchronised to the base unit Genlock signal. The camera unit and the base unit each use a local oscillator and H and V counters, whereby in the camera unit only a frequency locking is carried out.

    摘要: A circuit which generates a dot clock synchronized to an external video signal which can ensure a pulse width allowed by a device which is supplied with the dot clock. A high frequency clock is divided to generate a first dot clock, and the phase is initialized in accordance with information on a previously set frequency division ratio upon detection of a significant edge of a horizontal synchronization signal. Also, a second dot clock, the logical level of which changes every minimum allowable period, is formed from the high frequency clock in accordance with information on a previously set minimum allowable period, and the phase is modified upon detection of the significant edge such that the minimum allowable period is ensured for the logical level period even before and after the detection. The second dot clock is selected upon detection of the significant edge, and afterwards, the first dot clock is selected when a confirmation can be made that the timing of the first dot clock is coincident with or behind the timing of the second dot clock.
