Abstract: Example antenna panel management methods of a terminal device are described. One example method includes that the terminal device enters a sleep mode from an active mode. When the terminal device is ready to re-enter the active mode from the sleep mode, if sleep duration is less than a preset threshold, a single panel of the terminal device is activated. If the sleep duration is greater than or equal to the preset threshold, a plurality of panels of the terminal device are activated. The terminal device activates a panel based on sleep duration between two consecutive DRX ON modes, so that a suitable panel can be activated in time, and a suitable beam can be further found for communication with a base station.

Abstract: A first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive, from a second WTRU, sidelink control information (SCI), including first information indicating if a resource is reserved by the second WTRU, and second information indicating if the second WTRU is a power saving or non-power saving. The first WTRU may measure a reference signal receive power (RSRP) of signals transmitted by the second WTRU. The first WTRU may add a resource to a set of available resources if the first information indicates that the resource is not reserved by the second WTRU. If a resource is reserved, the WTRU may set an RSRP threshold to a first set or second threshold based on a power saving mode of the second WTRU. The first WTRU may add the resource to the set of available resources if the measured RSRP is less than the selected RSRP threshold.

Abstract: A method for small data transmission (SDT) in a power saving state is provided. Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to reducing power consumption of an electronic device scanning for wireless communication signals while maintaining or even improving an efficiency of the scanning operations. To do so, the electronic device may include more than one scan core, such as a main core and a receiving core. The receiving core may have limited functionality compared to the main core. For example, the receiving core may only receive wireless signals (including scanning for wireless signals). That is, the receiving core may not support certain operations that consume relative high power that are supported by the main core, such as transmission of signals. In this way, operation of the receiving core, either in place of or in addition to the main core, may reduce power consumption of the electronic device by avoiding high power consuming operations, such as data transmission, while scanning for various signals.

Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein may include receiving proximity messages during a first time period via a wireless personal area network. Each proximity message may include a proximity identifier calculated using a unique identifier for a proximate electronic device. Moreover, the techniques may include generating an event score for the first time period based on the matching proximity messages, the event score having a probability that an event has occurred between the first electronic device another device. Also, the techniques may include determining whether an event has occurred by comparing the event score to an event threshold.
