    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods of flow-based processing is wireless systems are described. For example, in one method, a WTRU may determine that one or more data units correspond to a flow of such data units. The WTRU may perform such determination as a function of one or more matching rule(s). Flow-based processing may be enabled in the layer 2/layer 1 chain by per-packet determination using one or more rules, for example by routing through the applicable processing functions and/or using the applicable configuration and/or mapping to the applicable uplink physical layer functions and/or resources. One or more functions such as scheduling request, buffer status reporting, HARQ processing, and/or radio link failure and recovery may be controlled based on the policy associated with the flow corresponding to the data being processed.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for reliable control signaling, for example, in New Radio (NR). A receiver in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive one or more physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmissions comprising downlink control information (DCI). The WTRU may determine a transmission profile associated with an uplink control information (UCI). Based on the transmission profile, the WTRU may determine one or more transmission characteristics associated with the transmission of the UCI. The WTRU may transmit the UCI over a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). The UCI may be transmitted using transmission characteristics determined by the WTRU. The WTRU may transmit the UCI based on at least one of a control resource set (CORESET), a search space, or a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI). The WTRU may determine a transmission profile differently based on what the UCI may comprise.

    Abstract: A first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive, from a second WTRU, sidelink control information (SCI), including first information indicating if a resource is reserved by the second WTRU, and second information indicating if the second WTRU is a power saving or non-power saving. The first WTRU may measure a reference signal receive power (RSRP) of signals transmitted by the second WTRU. The first WTRU may add a resource to a set of available resources if the first information indicates that the resource is not reserved by the second WTRU. If a resource is reserved, the WTRU may set an RSRP threshold to a first set or second threshold based on a power saving mode of the second WTRU. The first WTRU may add the resource to the set of available resources if the measured RSRP is less than the selected RSRP threshold.

    Abstract: Channel access in unlicensed spectrum may be a function of the type of physical channel and/or a procedure that initiated a transmission. An LBT procedure may be performed as a function of beam management. A WTRU may access a channel using multiple channel access methods associated with multiple uplink transmissions based on a determination of persistent interference associated with the channel. Channel access methods may be performed with different parameters or characteristics based on the resource type/timing of the transmission/measurements of DL/UL RS. Channel access methods may be characterized by a sensing duration, an ED threshold, a beam width, and/or a beam direction. Different ED thresholds may be applied as a function of one or more characteristics of an applicable beam. Multiple sensing methods and/or related parameters may be applied as a function of the type of physical channel and/or the type of procedure associated with a transmission.
