Abstract: This application provides an information transmission method and apparatus. A terminal receives downlink control information (DCI), wherein a format of the DCI corresponds to a time domain resource set, the time domain resource set comprises first time domain resource. The terminal determines the first time domain resource from the time domain resource set based on the format of the DCI and second information, wherein the second information is carried in the DCI, and the second information indicates the index of the first time domain resource in the time domain resource set. And the terminal performs information transmission on the first time domain resource and through a physical channel.

Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically adapting quality levels of content is disclosed herein. A content transmission system determines whether to reduce streaming bandwidth of a device that transmits content. In response to determining to reduce the streaming bandwidth, the content transmission system identifies a first plurality of frames of the content based on a first context and a second plurality of frames of the content based on a second context. The content transmission system transmits the first plurality of frames at a first quality level based on the first context and the second plurality of frames at a second quality level that is higher than the first quality level based on the second context.

Abstract: A method for preserving a frame check sequence (FCS) of a data frame during backscatter communication is provided. The method comprises: receiving a transmitted signal including a transmitted data frame, wherein the transmitted data frame includes a first data sequence and the FCS; determining a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) preservation sequence based on a backscattering tag data sequence, a bit-length of the backscattering tag data sequence, and a given CRC algorithm; and backscattering the transmitted signal to form a backscattered signal including a backscattered data frame, wherein the backscattered data frame includes a second data sequence and the FCS. The second data sequence includes a transmitted data sequence, an encoded tag data sequence and the CRC preservation sequence. The CRC preservation sequence preserves the FCS of the transmitted data frame in the backscattered data frame. The FCS is usable to detect communication errors in the backscattered data frame.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit a data message to a user equipment (UE) in a data block modulated according to a modulation and coding scheme (MCS). The UE may monitor for the data block and may attempt to decode the data block. If the UE successfully receives and decodes the data block, the UE may transmit an acknowledgment (ACK) in a feedback message. If the UE unsuccessfully receives or decodes the data block, the UE may transmit a negative acknowledgement (NACK). The UE may transmit the feedback message with the ACK or NACK and a value from a codebook indicating for the base station to increase or decrease the MCS by a delta value for a following transmission or a retransmission.

Abstract: A method for communicating a data packet, the method includes receiving a data packet that supports a packet wash operation. The method determines whether the data packet can be forwarded along a network path towards a destination node without any modification. If the data packet cannot be forwarded along the network path towards the destination node without modification, the method determines whether conditions are met for performing the packet wash operation on the data packet. If the conditions are met, the packet wash operation is performed to generate a washed data packet. The packet wash operation generates the washed data packet by modifying a size of a payload of the data packet based on a packet wash specification that associates attributes to a plurality of data payload portions of the payload of the data packet. The washed data packet is forwarded along the network path towards the destination node.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for successive interference cancellation (SIC). In an embodiment, a method includes receiving symbols from a plurality of user equipment (UE), identify a target UE and non-target UEs, decoding code blocks from the symbols received from the non-target UEs to generate decoded bits for each code block. The method also includes performing a CRC check on each code block to generate a tag (0) when the CRC check passes and a tag (1) when the CRC check fails, and re-encoding the decoded bits to generate re-encoded code blocks having the associated tags attached. The method also includes reconstructing symbols from the re-encoded code blocks where symbols reconstructed from re-encoded code blocks having tag (0) are reconstructed with data and symbols reconstructed from re-encoded code blocks having tag (1) are reconstructed as zero value symbols, and utilizing the reconstructed symbols to cancel interference on symbols from the target UE.

Abstract: A network or system in which a hub or primary node may communicate with a plurality of leaf or secondary nodes. The hub node may operate or have a capacity greater than that of the leaf nodes. Accordingly, relatively inexpensive leaf nodes may be deployed to receive data carrying optical signals from, and supply data carrying optical signals to, the hub node. One or more connections may couple each leaf node to the hub node, whereby each connection may include one or more spans or segments of optical fibers, optical amplifiers, optical splitters/combiners, and optical add/drop multiplexer, for example. Optical subcarriers may be transmitted over such connections, each carrying a data stream. The subcarriers may be generated by a combination of a laser and a modulator, such that multiple lasers and modulators are not required, and costs may be reduced. As the bandwidth or capacity requirements of the leaf nodes change, the number of subcarriers, and thus the amount of data provided to each node, may be changed accordingly. Each subcarrier within a dedicated group of subcarriers may carry OAM or control channel information to a corresponding leaf node, and such information may be used by the leaf node to configure the leaf node to have a desired bandwidth or capacity.

Abstract: A digital distributed ledger-based system provides for receiving, via a first application, a first data transmission record representative of a transmission of a file by the first application, and for receiving, via a second application, a first data receipt record representative of a receipt of the file by the second application. The digital distributed ledger-based system also provides for storing the first data transmission record and the first data receipt record in the digital distributed ledger. The digital distributed ledger immutably stores the first data transmission record and the first data receipt word record. The digital distributed ledger-based system additionally provides for determining that the transmission of the file has occurred correctly by retrieving the first data transmission record and the first data receipt record from the digital distributed ledger and by comparing the first data transmission record to the first data receipt record.
