Abstract: A method and an apparatus are provided in which a vector is generated from a covariance matrix of a received signal. The vector is input to a neural network to obtain an enhanced vector. The enhanced vector is converted into an enhanced matrix. Interference whitening is performed on the received signal using a whitening filter based on the enhanced matrix.

Abstract: A transmission method for transmitting a first modulated signal and a second modulated signal in the same frequency at the same time. Each signal has been modulated according to a different modulation sheme. The transmission method applies precoding on both signals using a fixed precoding matrix, applies different power change to each signal, and regularly changes the phase of at least one of the signals, thereby improving received data signal quality for a reception device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit an encoded transmission via a broadcast to multiple user equipment (UE). Subsequently, the multiple UEs may transmit assistance information to the base station based on attempting to decode the broadcasted encoded transmission. If the decoding is unsuccessful for at least one UE, the base station may then transmit an additional encoded transmission via a unicast or multicast message to the UEs that were unsuccessful. Additionally, the base station may transmit configuration information for the multiple UEs to receive the encoded transmissions and to transmit the assistance information. For example, the configuration information may include portion information for how long the encoded transmission is transmitted via the broadcast, via the unicast, when to transmit the assistance information, etc. In some cases, the configuration information may be based on UE metrics of the multiple UEs.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to address issues related to poor radio conditions (e.g., SS-RSRP/SS-RSRQ/SS-SINR) associated with poor coverage for user devices (e.g., user equipment (UEs)) positioned between Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) beams emitted from a cell tower. Specifically, Next Generation Node B (gNB) may identify the location of the user devices (reporting poor signal strength due to poor radio conditions) based on angle or arrival and/or timing advance. Systems and methods further include controlling a phase and amplitude of the SSB beam(s) serving the user device to improve the signal strength of these user devices experiencing poor radio conditions, until the signal strength is within/above target threshold value(s). In this manner, user coverage is improved, with the option to prioritize premium subscribers, without the need for employing a more expensive alternative (e.g., building additional cell sites and towers) for improving user coverage.

Abstract: A communication system includes multiple distributed antenna circuits and an access point (AP). The distributed antenna circuits include at least first and second antenna circuits. The AP is coupled to the distributed antenna circuits and includes multiple transmit chains, multiple receive chains, and an antenna control circuit communicatively coupled to the transmit chains and the receive chains. The first antenna circuit is co-located with the AP and the second antenna circuit is remote from the AP. The antenna control circuit is configured to determine a subset of the distributed antenna circuits to communicatively couple to at least some of the transmit chains to transmit data to a wireless station (STA) that is in range of the subset.

Abstract: A communications network system is disclosed.
