Abstract: A method comprises monitoring one or more applications, the one or more applications including a browser and one or more local apps; recognizing that a user has encountered a form page with a particular application; identifying particular context information associated the particular application and the form page; transmitting the context information to a remote server system, the remote server system storing form data associated with the particular context information; receiving the form data from the remote server system; and presenting a virtual keyboard interface to the user, the virtual keyboard interface enabling the user to access the form data and enter the form data into the form page.

Abstract: A method, computer program and system for performing a find and replace editing operation of a text starting from a couple of initial find and replace expressions provided by the user, applying each rule defining admissible inflected forms of the initial find expression and the initial replace expression, to the initial find and replace expression to identify all the derived couples of find expression and the replace expression which are valid for the rules. The find expression and the replace expression of the derived couples correspond to inflected forms of the initial find and replace expressions. Then, for each match in the text of the find expression of the derived couples, proposing to the user the derived couples for replacement in the text. The user interface is done through the usual graphical user interface of a text editor or through a text based terminal user interface. The find and replace operation may be passive through the execution of a program including find and replace commands or interactive by asking the user to give his choices during the execution of the program.

Abstract: A method of processing a page of a document. A plurality of commands describing graphical objects of the page configured to be reproduced in a first presentation mode are received, the plurality of commands indicating a type of each of the graphical objects, an enclosing region and a drawing order associated with each of the graphical objects. An object significance score is determined for each of the graphical objects using the respective object type and object depth. A significance profile for the page is determined by combining the determined object significance scores according to a page layout, the page layout being determined using the enclosing regions associated with the graphical objects. Logical structure elements of the page are determined using the significance profile. The plurality of commands are processed according to the determined logical structure elements for generating the page of the document in a second presentation mode.

Abstract: Various aspects of the subject technology relate to systems, methods, and machine-readable media for automated quantitative assessment of text complexity. A system may include processing at least one body of text in a text-based query using a natural language processing engine. The processed text may include sub-blocks of text in a predetermined sequence size such as an n-gram. The system may compare reference bases to the processed text, where each reference base is associated with a different natural language. The system determines which of the reference bases has a highest number of matching words within the body of text, and thereby identifies the reference base as the source language of the supplied text. The system then determines an average complexity score for n-gram using a quantitative assessment engine. The system then applies a readability score to the body of text based on the average complexity scores of the n-grams.

Abstract: The invention introduces a method for working collaboratively, performed by a processing unit when loading and executing program code of a client, including: receiving a signal indicating an edit made to an electronic file by a user through an MMI (Man Machine Interface); generating and executing an editing command corresponding to the signal; increasing a client revision counter by one in response to the editing; issuing a synchronization request including the editing command to a server; receiving from the server an acknowledgement including the editing command and a value of a server revision counter; and when a value of the client revision counter corresponding to the editing command does not match the value of the server revision counter, determining that a command conflict has occurred and performing a conflict-resolution procedure to synchronize an execution order of the editing commands from all clients.
