Abstract: Provided is a method, a computer program product, and a system for associating mathematical functions to numerical text in a natural language sample. The method includes inputting a natural language sample from a text dataset and identifying a numerical text within the natural language sample. The method further includes displaying a mathematical function corresponding to the numerical text to be selected. The mathematical function can be selected via graphical user interface displayed on a computing device. The method also includes receiving and inserting the mathematical function as a feature into a feature vector of the natural language sample and selecting an output label for the natural language sample. The output label relates to the mathematical function selected for the numerical text. The method further includes exporting the natural language sample into a labeled dataset which can be used to train a machine learning model.

Abstract: A database may contain a corpus of text strings, the text strings respectively associated with vector representations thereof, where each of the vector representations is an aggregation of vector representations of words in the associated text string. An artificial neural network (ANN) may have been trained with mappings between: (i) the words in the text strings, and (ii) for each respective word, one or more sub strings of the text strings in which the word appears. A server device may be configured to: receive an input text string; generate an input aggregate vector representation of the input text string by applying an encoder of the ANN to words in the input text string; compare the input aggregate vector representation to the vector representations; identify a relevant subset of the vector representations; and transmit the text strings that are associated with the relevant subset of the vector representations.

Abstract: A framework for implementing just-in-time decision support analytics within a business application deployment are provided. In one set of embodiments, the framework enables an application user to be presented with analytics that are in-context and in-place with respect to an operational workflow carried out by the user, where “in-context” means that the presented analytics are directly relevant to, and tailored for, the specific business context of the user's operational workflow, and “in-place” means that the analytics are displayed to the user within the same UI/application used to execute the operational workflow, and at the same time the workflow is actually executed. These characteristics advantageously ensure that the user is provided with the insights he/she needs to make confident business decisions and facilitates real-time decision making for time-critical operations.

Abstract: A system and method of contextually converting a media file into an electronic document allows the user to generate an interactive transcription from the audio portion of a provided media file, which subsequently connects to the media file such that the user can play the media file from a selected transcribed word. Screenshots from video files may also be appended to the electronic document at transitions in video content and subsequently matched to appropriate transcribed words within the generated document. The system implementing the method includes a user account managed by at least one remote server, wherein the user account is associated with a corresponding personal computing (PC) device. This arrangement enables each user to interact with the at least one remote server using the corresponding PC device. The method follows an overall process in order to generate an electronic document with timestamped transcriptions.

Abstract: To dynamically re-color scalable graphic images in web applications, a server may send an image filename to a web application operating on a client device. Before displaying the image, the client device may send a request back to the server identifying the image and providing color codes for the image. The server may load an image file for the identified image and replace generic placeholders in the image file with the color codes sent from the client device. The re-colored image file may then be sent back to the client device for display. The server may receive subsequent requests to re-color the image using different color codes in response to user inputs at the client device, such as clicking or hovering over the image.

Abstract: A security platform employs a variety techniques and mechanisms to detect security related anomalies and threats in a computer network environment. The security platform is “big data” driven and employs machine learning to perform security analytics. The security platform performs user/entity behavioral analytics (UEBA) to detect the security related anomalies and threats, regardless of whether such anomalies/threats were previously known. The security platform can include both real-time and batch paths/modes for detecting anomalies and threats. By visually presenting analytical results scored with risk ratings and supporting evidence, the security platform enables network security administrators to respond to a detected anomaly or threat, and to take action promptly.
