Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for giving a name to an expression within a cell formula so that the said expression can be represented by the given name in all subsequent references within the cell formula in a spreadsheet application. In the edit mode, a user may enter any expression within a formula by its given name after defining it once anywhere in that formula. In the view mode, the cell formula may display all named expressions by their given names, with the definitions of the said names displayed as sub-formulas along with the computed value of the expressions. Features may be implemented as an add-in, a macro, a function, a direct modification of the spreadsheet application, or any combination thereof. Implementations may be used with electronic spreadsheet applications generally, including programs such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Lotus 123, but not limited to such.

Abstract: Embodiments relate to a system and a method for identifying, from contractual documents, (i) standard exact clauses matching clause examples and (ii) non-standard clauses semantically related to but not matching the clause examples. A standard feature data set comprising standard exact clauses matching clause examples is obtained. In addition, a mirror feature data set comprising semantically related clauses of the clause examples is obtained using semantic language analysis, where the mirror feature data set encompasses the standard feature data set. Non-standard clauses are obtained by extracting a difference between the mirror feature data set and the standard exact feature data set.

Abstract: A method may include accessing a report definition template, the report definition template identifying a set of data requirement for a report; mapping the set of data requirements to a corresponding semantic object in a semantic ontology; parsing a semantic map to determine a database table storing data for the semantic object; retrieving the data for the semantic object from the database table; generating a report data file adhering to the semantic object ontology based in part on the retrieved data; transmitting a logical location of the generated report data file, a logical location of the semantic map, and logical location of the semantic ontology to a blockchain node for adding to a report block in the blockchain.

Abstract: A computerized text analysis method that comprises: searching a resource of information with a search query comprising at least one of: (a) the specific debatable topic, and (b) a personal derivation of the specific debatable topic, to obtain a list of indices whose index subject contains the personal derivation and/or the specific debatable topic; determining, by applying a rule-based classifier, whether the index subject of each of the indices is (i) in favor of the debatable topic or (ii) against the debatable topic; detecting, in each of the indices, hyperlinks to encyclopedic entries whose entry subjects are person names; and determining that: if the index subject of each of the one or more indices is in favor of the specific debatable topic, then the persons are in favor of the specific debatable topic, and vice versa.

Abstract: Systems and methods for annotating conversations between a user and an electronic assistant in a hierarchical manner are disclosed. An example system includes a data store of hierarchical annotation records. The hierarchical annotation records include root records and non-root records. Each root record has a conversation identifier and an annotation identifier. Each non-root record includes an annotation identifier and a parent identifier, the parent identifier being an annotation identifier of another record. At least some of the non-root records further include an annotation tag. The system generates a first new root record and first non-root records for an input dialog act and generates a second new root record and second non-root records for an output dialog act that is responsive to the input dialog act. At least one of the second non-root records includes an annotation tag linking back to a record of the first non-root records.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a search method and device based on artificial intelligence and an electronic device. The search method based on artificial intelligence includes: obtaining a query; performing a word segmentation on the query to obtain a term sequence containing a plurality of terms; performing a structured analysis on the term sequence to generate a semantic pattern; performing a knowledge-based analysis on the term sequence based on the semantic pattern to generate a semantic analysis result; determining an understanding result corresponding to the query based on the semantic pattern and the semantic analysis result; and performing a search based on the understanding result corresponding to the query.
