Abstract: A method for determining and presenting a recommendation for assisting an interviewee party in a state in need of help solving a problem, such as experiencing a cardiac arrest or an acute injury or disease such as meningitis, during an interview between an inter-viewing party and said interviewee party. The method determines a recommendation as a function of the sound of the interviewee party without an automatic speech recognition routine, i.e. in the processing the sound of the interviewee party is not converted to text (text strings), but instead a feature model is used and the output of that goes direct into a recommendation model.

Abstract: The present disclosure is related to systems and methods for hashing-based assessment of electronic clinical trial outcomes. Such systems and methods may advantageously enable secure, rapid, efficient, and cost-effective reuse of pre-built eCOA assessments for clinical trials. In an aspect, the present disclosure provides a computer-implemented method for validation of an electronic clinical trial outcome assessment (eCOA), comprising: (a) obtaining an assessment of an eCOA, the assessment comprising a plurality of files generated by performing a first validation of the eCOA; (b) obtaining a first hash value associated with the assessment of the eCOA, the first hash value generated by hashing the plurality of files of the assessment of the eCOA; (c) hashing the plurality of files of the assessment of the eCOA to generate a second hash value; and (d) validating the eCOA when the second hash value is equal to the first hash value.

Abstract: A system and method for prediction of the likelihood of the response to placebo during clinical trials from raw scalp EEG and accompanied metadata. To accomplish this, the system includes an electroencephalography (EEG) device, at least one EEG data, at least one measured metadata, at least one machine learning unit, and at least one segmented EEG data. The method of use may include the steps of collecting behaviorally measured metadata, collecting EEG data, uploading EEG data, segmenting EEG data, performing data augmentation and channel rolling on the EEG data, performing a model inference, performing a prediction aggregation, outputting a result, and transmitting a result to an end user or client. Predicting the likelihood of a placebo response of a subject in advance assists in tailoring the subjects of the clinical trial. This will save time and money and improve the resulting data from the clinical trial.

Abstract: A method for determining a risk for an infectious disease for a patient using a cognitive intelligence platform is disclosed. The method also includes determining whether any of the factors are present in a patient graph of the patient, wherein the patient graph includes medical information pertaining to the patient and the determining is performed by matching the medical information pertaining to the infectious disease to the medical information pertaining to the patient. The method also includes, responsive to determining the factors are present in the patient graph of the patient, determining the risk for the infectious disease for the patient, and performing a preventative action based on the risk for the infectious disease.

One or more of the monitoring device, the local device, the processing module, the reviewer portal and the clinician portal being configured to initiate a challenge and response request at the local device in response to predefined criteria.
