摘要: This document relates to a process for supporting the management of a variety of types of deployed devices. Administrators utilizing enterprise services can provide generic configuration data using configuration templates, which can be provided to a management server. The management server can then precompute device-specific configuration settings and resolve any conflicts that may arise based on the configuration templates. The configuration templates can also include placeholders for secret values, and once a managed device checks in to the management server, the secret values can be retrieved from an applicable enterprise service and provided to the managed device at the time of applying the configuration template.

In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a first signaling from the management node at the second hierarchical level, the first signaling corresponding to a first predetermined model; obtaining at least one local measurement value, the at least one local measurement value indicative of a local state of the wireless communication network; processing the at least one local measurement value based on the received first predetermined model to identify at least one parameter value independent of the management node; and managing local state of the wireless communication network by performing at least one predetermined action associated with the identified at least one parameter value.

摘要: A method comprises receiving telecommunications infrastructure data corresponding to a plurality of devices, determining at least one issue with at least one device of the devices based at least in part on the telecommunications infrastructure data, and identifying at least one remedial action to be performed to address the at least one issue. The identifying is performed using one or more machine learning techniques and the at least one remedial action comprises at least one of adding at least one additional device to the plurality of devices and reconfiguring the at least one device. One or more configuration templates are retrieved and inputted to at least one of the at least one additional device and the at least one device based at least in part on the at least one remedial action. A report including the at least one issue and the at least one remedial action is generated.

摘要: Embodiments described herein are directed to configuring managed computing devices utilizing containerized applications. For instance, a mobile device manager may provide configuration settings to a computing device via, for example, an enterprise network. A host operating system (OS) executing on the computing device determines and applies the settings that are applicable to the host OS. The configuration settings are stored for configuring containerized applications executing on the computing device. For instance, as new containerized applications are launched by the host OS, the containerized applications retrieve the configuration settings and determine and apply the settings that are applicable to the containerized applications. Results of applying the configuration settings to the host OS and the containerized applications are merged and sent to the mobile device manager. The host OS and the containerized application may, for example, implement the settings in order to be compliant with an enterprise's policy.

摘要: A system may include a database disposed within a remote network management platform, a server device disposed in the platform, and a client device. The database may contain representations of configuration items, such as computing devices and software applications associated with the managed network. The server device may provide a graphical user interface including a sequence of panes to the client device. The sequence of panes may include an identifier pane, an identification rules pane, and a reconciliation pane. Each pane may include data entry fields that are operable to define a new class of configuration item. The server device may receive, by way of the graphical user interface, a definition of the new class that uniquely identifies configuration items of a particular type using at least the attributes. The server may store, in the database, the definition of the new class.

摘要: A templating engine in a network management platform creates and stores named templates that describe a network state associating one or more IP address blocks and sub-blocks with one or more corresponding attributes of potential and actual network resources. Named templates comprise, for each IP address sub-block, a data object including a set of actions to be taken in response to provisioning requests based on metadata associated with a network resource identified by the request. Responsive to a provisioning request for access by a resource to the enterprise network, an executed template automatically assigns an IP address to that resource in one of the sub-blocks according to identified attributes of the resource. The executing template automatically notifies external systems of the IP address assignment of the enterprise network.

摘要: A method includes receiving a plurality of configurations comprising a first configuration for provisioning a first set of network services at a first resource of an edge device and a second configuration for provisioning a second set of network services at the first resource, a first configuration group identifier identifying a configuration group for the first configuration, and a first network performance parameter for the configuration group. The method further includes determining a performance factor for the first resource providing the first set of network services to one or more client devices. The method further includes, in response to determining that the performance factor does not satisfy the first network performance parameter for the configuration group and that the first configuration group identifier identifies the configuration group for the first configuration, moving the first configuration from the first resource to a second resource of the edge device.

摘要: Disclosed are various examples for Internet of Things (IoT) device discovery and configuration. In some embodiments, a management service generates a console user interface. Through the console user interface, an Internet-of-Things (IoT) protocol is selected for an IoT discovery campaign to discover IoT devices that are deployed in an enterprise environment and utilize the IoT protocol. A gateway distribution list is defined for the IoT discovery campaign. A command is transmitted according to the IoT discovery campaign, causing a gateway device to discover IoT devices that are deployed in the enterprise environment and utilize the IoT protocol.
