摘要: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for recommending join operations of relational data among different tables. Relationships between one or more pairs of columns of relational data for one or more pairs of tables are identified by determining the semantic similarity between each pair of columns of relational data. The data content join converge for each of the identified relationships in connection with joining the tables involved in such identified relationships is determined. Furthermore, a join strength (indication of the degree that the relational data in the paired columns match) is calculated for each of the identified relationships based on the semantic similarity and the data content join coverage for such identified relationships. Based on the calculated join strength as well as other factors, a combination optimization algorithm identifies the best join combinations of relational data of the tables among a set of tables.

For instance, a method may include: obtaining a plurality of records, wherein each record has a key value that points to the record in a database, and each of the plurality of records includes at least data for an observation of an entity; and generating an index based on the plurality of records. The generating the index may include: determining a plurality of observations based on the plurality of records, an observation including a device identifier and time-and-geolocation data for a record of the plurality of records; encoding the plurality of observations into a plurality of spacetime hashes; and forming a search data structure of the index for a plurality of key values based on the plurality of spacetime hashes, wherein the search data structure groups subsets of the plurality of spacetime hashes.

摘要: Systems and methods for generating a data aggregator interactive graphical user interface. An interactive graphical user interface (GUI) includes a selectable symbol region, a query region and a data results region. The selectable symbol region displays predefined symbols. The query region displays user input fields for generating queries. The system receives user input associated with the user input fields of the query region to form a filter set. The data results region is automatically updated responsive to the user input, to display one or more data values from among one or more databases associated with the filter set. The system receives a subscription request to save the filter set as a user-customized query. A custom symbol is created responsive to the subscription request that is associated with the filter set. The the selectable symbol region is updated to display the custom symbol together with the predefined symbols.

摘要: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for efficiently querying external tables. In an embodiment, a database platform receives a query that is directed at least in part to external data in an external table stored on a data storage platform that is external to the database platform. The external table includes a plurality of partitions. The database platform identifies, from external-table metadata, a subset of the plurality of partitions of the external table as including data that potentially satisfies the query. The external-table metadata is stored by the database platform. The database platform identifies data that satisfies the query by scanning the identified subset of the partitions, and responds to the query at least in part with the identified data that satisfies the query.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for automatically documenting queries and dynamically populating interactive graphical user interfaces with query recommendations. A computing system receives an initial query from an interactive graphical user interface and asynchronously parses the query for strings matching predetermined phrases. In response to determining that the initial query recites strings matching the predetermined phrases, the system extracts metadata and identifies a table name in the initial query, and modifies a table data in key-value data structure corresponding to the table. Subsequent queries related to the initial query cause the system to asynchronously populate the graphical user interface with query recommendations related to the initial query.
