Abstract: A network node stores connection data required for remote devices to connect with it and to share content data with it. The network node shares the connection data with other network nodes that are capable of communicating with the remote device, and retrieves connection data for a remote device from another network node if the connection data is not stored in the first node. The network node also communicates with a remote server to retrieve the connection data if it is not present in one of the other network nodes. The network node securely communicates content data received from the remote devices to a remote data store.

Abstract: A communications system may include user equipment (UE) devices, communications satellites, gateways, and a terrestrial network. The UE devices may receive broadcast signals from the constellation. The UE devices may transmit registration requests to the gateways via the satellites in response to the broadcast signals. The registration requests may include information identifying the geographic locations of the UE devices and may include two-line element (TLE) identifiers. A scheduler on the terrestrial network may receive forward link traffic requests for the UE devices, each with a corresponding priority. The scheduler may also receive satellite information that includes thermal constraints, position information, and power information associated with the satellites. The scheduler may generate forward link traffic grants for the UE devices based on the forward link traffic requests, the thermal constraints, the TLE versions, the geographic locations, and the priorities.

Abstract: A method according to one embodiment includes receiving, by a gateway device and from an access control device, credential data received by the access control device from a mobile device in response to presentation of the mobile device to the access control device, comparing the credential data to a gateway credential list stored in a memory of the gateway device, the gateway credential list identifying a plurality of credentials associated with the gateway device, and each credential of the plurality of credentials associated with a unique credential index, transmitting, to a server, the unique credential index associated with the credential data in response to determining that the credential data matches a corresponding credential in the gateway credential list, and receiving, from the server, an access control decision associated with the credential data in response to transmitting the unique credential index.

Embodiments also include a service account that provides a service account control plane to enable a user to configure parameters for the network slice.

Abstract: A gateway for X2 interface communication is provided, including: an X2 internal interface for communicating with, and coupled to, a plurality of radio access networks (RANs); and an X2 external interface for communicating with, and coupled to, a destination outside of the plurality of RANs, the X2 external interface further including a single X2 endpoint for the plurality of radio access networks, such that the X2 external interface provides a single interface for an external macro cell or core network to interact with the plurality of radio access networks. The gateway may further include a handover module for maintaining X2 signaling associations and transactions for incoming and outbound handovers, including X2 to S1 and S1 to X2 translation.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, transmitting a first message to a base station, via a network address translation (NAT) gateway. Abstract: A network node is adapted to wirelessly receive content data from remote wireless devices if they have been provisioned to the network node via provisioning data. The network node includes a memory for storing first provisioning data, a transceiver adapted to transmit a portion of the first provisioning data for receipt and storage by a second node, receive a portion of second provisioning data stored in the second node, communicate with a remote cloud based source of provisioning data, transmit content data communicated to the first node by a wireless device to a remote data store, and a programmable processor. The processor determines whether a detected device has or has not been formerly provisioned with the first node. If the detected device has not been formerly provisioned with the first node, and if provisioning data for the detected device is not available in the first or the second provisioning data, provisioning data for the detected device is obtained from the remote cloud based source.

Abstract: Gateway devices can use dual cellular interfaces, each assignable to at least one of a plurality of network services, to provide reliable communications for client machines. A gateway device can use one of the dual cellular interfaces assigned to a first network service as a primary interface and the other assigned to a second network service as a hot backup interface. The backup interface remains connected to a cellular network while communications are routed on the primary interface. Accordingly, the gateway device can rapidly switch communications between from the primary interface to the backup interface. Applications, for example, for ATM payment processing, vending machine telemetry, point of sale payment processing, kiosk internet connectivity, remote monitoring and control, mobile or electronic health, and remote information displays, may run on the gateway devices, on servers, on user devices, or a combination of these devices.
