Abstract: A communication method includes transmitting resource assignment information including bits that indicate activation or deactivation statuses of respective downlink component carriers, which are secondary downlink component carriers added to a primary component carrier which is always activated, each of the downlink component carriers corresponding to one bit included in bits, and the one bit indicating that a corresponding downlink component carrier is to be activated or deactivated. When any one bit of the bits indicates that its corresponding downlink component carrier is to be activated, the bits jointly indicate the activation or deactivation statuses, a sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission request and a channel quality information (CQI) reporting request. The method also includes receiving a SRS and a CQI that are transmitted, in response to the SRS transmission request and the CQI reporting request, on an uplink component carrier linked to an activated downlink component carrier(s).

Abstract: Disclosed is a flow optimization method for non-real-time decoding systems, which is applied in a wireless communication system including a transmitter and a receiver corresponding thereto. The receiver executes the non-real-time decoding method, which includes the following steps: after determining that a current subframe is a non-real-time decoding subframe, performing a NRS channel estimation of the non-real-time decoding subframe, and storing frequency domain data of the current subframe; after determining that the current subframe is a subsequent subframe adjacent to the non-real-time decoding subframe, combining the NRS channel estimation of the non-real-time decoding subframe and a NRS channel estimation of the subsequent subframe on the subsequent subframe, and then performing a data resource element channel estimation; and according to the data resource element channel estimation obtained from the combined NRS channel estimation, performing equalization, descrambling and de-rate matching on the non-real-time decoding subframe and the subsequent subframe respectively.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a data receiving apparatus and a data receiving method having blind deconvolution mechanism. A descrambling circuit descrambles received data according to an antenna assumption and N data position assumptions within a transmission period to generate N groups of soft-bit data. A soft-bit processing circuit retrieves bit position data to determine non-variable bit positions and variable bit positions. N circular buffers of a storage circuit store and superimpose the N groups of soft-bit data corresponding to N data position assumptions in a circular manner to generate N groups of superimposed results and keep the data corresponding to the non-variable bit positions. A post-processing circuit performs de-interleaving and decoding on the N groups of superimposed results to generate N groups of decoded results to perform redundancy check thereon. When one decoded results passes the redundancy check, the soft-bit processing circuit stops performing the blind deconvolution process.

Abstract: In some embodiments of the invention, OFDM symbols are transmitted as a plurality of clusters. A cluster includes a plurality of OFDM sub-carriers in frequency, over a plurality of OFDM symbol durations in time. Each cluster includes data as well as pilot information as a reference signal for channel estimation. In some embodiments, a plurality of clusters collectively occupy the available sub-carrier set in the frequency domain that is used for transmission. In some embodiments of the invention data and/or pilots are spread within each cluster using code division multiplexing (CDM). In some embodiments pilots and data are separated by distributing data on a particular number of the plurality of OFDM symbol durations and pilots on a remainder of the OFDM symbol durations. CDM spreading can be performed in time and/or frequency directions.
