摘要: A system to prevent the formation of hydrates in a pipeline includes a heater assembly. The heater assembly has a vortex tube mounted on an outer surface of a first section of the pipeline and a compressed gas source. The vortex tube is configured to separate gas from an inlet into a hot gas pathway and a cold gas pathway. The vortex tube includes an inlet, a cold gas outlet, and a hot gas outlet. The hot gas outlet of the vortex tube is fluidly connected to an opening defined in the first section of the pipeline. The hot gas outlet is configured to flow hot gas from the vortex tube into an interior volume of the pipeline. The compressed gas source is fluidly connected to the inlet of the vortex tube.

摘要: A tube with an integrated cleanout port includes a medical-grade tube, a suction adaptor, and a check valve, The medical-grade tube that connect between the patient's endotracheal tube and the Y-pipe of the mechanical ventilator includes a tubular body, a first connector end, and a second connector end. The suction adaptor is laterally positioned to the tubular body and hermetically connected to the tubular body that may be corrugated or not corrugated. The check valve is hermetically connected within the suction adaptor, wherein the tubular body is in fluid communication with the suction adaptor through the check valve. Due to the configuration of the check valve, any fluid buildup such as condensation, sputum, blood, and mucous within the tubular body can easily be removed via the suction adaptor without having to shut off the mechanical ventilator or break the circuit which could potentially cause harm to the patient.

摘要: A flexible pipe for subsea transportation of production fluids, a method of manufacturing flexible pipe body and a method of providing corrosion protection to armour wires of at least one tensile armour layer of a flexible pipe having a breached pipe annulus are disclosed. The flexible pipe comprises a fluid retaining layer, an outer sheath and at least one tensile armour layer comprising a plurality of helically wound monofilament armour wires of a first material, each having a non-circular cross section with an aspect ratio of greater than 1:2 disposed between the fluid retaining layer and the outer sheath. The tensile armour layer further comprises at least one helically wound elongate anode element substantially having a cross-section aspect ratio of 1:1 and comprising a further material, interposed between armour wires, the anode element cross section having an area that is 50% or less of a corresponding area of said non-circular cross section.

摘要: A pipe support assembly for use in the pipeline transmission industry. More particularly, an adjustable pipe support assembly for use in bracing and securing a section of pipe, while being able to removably detach a strap of said support assembly from said pipe, and thus, monitor and inspect an outer coating of said pipe for corrosion and/or any other possible damage to said pipe. More particularly still, a pipe support assembly having a plurality of pipe chocks with vibration regulators for use in preventing and controlling any vibratory movements of said pipe.
