Abstract: Provided are a charging system, charging method, and device, said charging system comprising a battery; a first rectifier, configured to output a first voltage with a first pulsating waveform; a switch unit, configured to modulate the first voltage; a transformer, configured to output a second voltage with a second pulsating waveform; a second rectifier, configured to output a third voltage with a third pulsating waveform, and the third voltage is configured to be applied to the battery charge the battery; a first current sampling circuit, configured to sample current to obtain a current sampling value; and a control unit configured to output the control signal to the switch unit, adjust the amplification factor of the operational amplifier, and adjust a duty ratio of the control signal according to the current sampling value, such that the third voltage meets a charging requirement of the battery.

Abstract: Apparatuses, components and methods are provided herein useful to provide assistance to customers and/or workers in a shopping facility. In some embodiments, a shopping facility personal assistance system comprises: a plurality of motorized transport units located in and configured to move through a shopping facility space; a plurality of user interface units, each corresponding to a respective motorized transport unit during use of the respective motorized transport unit; and a central computer system having a network interface such that the central computer system wirelessly communicates with one or both of the plurality of motorized transport units and the plurality of user interface units, wherein the central computer system is configured to control movement of the plurality of motorized transport units through the shopping facility space based at least on inputs from the plurality of user interface units.

Abstract: A charging system and charging method for a terminal (2), and a power adapter (1) and a switch power source. The switch power source comprises a first rectification unit (101), a switch unit (102), a transformer (103), a second rectification unit (104), a sampling unit (106) and a control unit (107), wherein the control unit (107) outputs a control signal to the switch unit (102) and adjusts a voltage of a first pulse waveform according to a voltage sampling value and/or a current sampling value sampled by the sampling unit (106) to obtain a primary sampling voltage, and adjusts a duty ratio of the control signal according to the primary sampling voltage, the voltage sampling value and/or the current sampling value, so that a voltage of a third pulse waveform satisfies a charging requirement. The switch power source can make an output voltage and current waveform change along with an input voltage and current waveform, so that a good power factor can be obtained. Moreover, when the switch power source is applied to the power adapter (1), a voltage of an output pulse waveform can be directly loaded to a battery of the terminal (2), so that miniaturization and low costs of the power adapter (1) can be realized.

Abstract: The method of location-based charging for electric vehicles provides for secure charging of electric vehicles by applying various charging mechanisms depending on users' and suppliers' specific attributes. When an operator of an electric vehicle connects the electric vehicle to electric vehicle supply equipment, a message is securely received by the electric vehicle supply equipment, which includes a set of operator-specific parameters. Based on the set of operator-specific parameters, a secure notification is transmitted to an owner of the electric vehicle supply equipment requesting authorization for the operator to charge the electric vehicle. The applicable charging mechanism of the electric vehicle is applied based on the owner's authorization message transmitted to the electric vehicle supply equipment and the set of operator-specific parameters.

Abstract: Provided is an electronic device configured to be charged with an adapter. The electronic device includes an energy storage unit, a charging unit and a switch unit. The charging unit is configured to receive a bus voltage and output a charging voltage to charge the energy storage unit. The switch unit is electrically coupled in parallel to the charging unit. When the electronic device is coupled to the adapter through a bus interface, the electronic device receives the bus voltage from the adapter, receives a communication signal from the adapter, and selectively turns on or off the switch unit according to the communication signal, and when the electronic device operates in a direct charging mode, the switch unit is turned on to form a direct charging path, to charge the energy storage unit by using the bus voltage.

Abstract: A charging device can include an input interface for receiving electrical power from a power source and an output interface for outputting electrical power to a mobile electronic device. The charging device can include a supplemental battery. A charging electrical pathway can couple the input interface to the supplemental battery. A discharge electrical pathway can couple the supplemental battery to the output interface. The bypass electrical pathway can include a voltage modifier configured to modify the voltage output by the output interface. The charging device can be configured to empirically determine the power capacity of the power supply. The charging device can monitor temperatures and/or battery health information, which can be used to reduce current or disable the charging device.
