摘要: An electric power control device for a vehicle which is configured to receive direct current which is supplied from a charging device outside the vehicle and includes an electric storage device configured to be charged by the direct current includes an electronic control unit configured to: acquire maximum output information of the charging device; while the electric storage device is charged by the direct current supplied from the charging device, execute a current limiting process in which the direct current becomes lower than a predetermined value when a parameter relevant to a temperature of a current-carrying component and a threshold of the parameter satisfy a predetermined condition, the current-carrying component being a component in which the direct current flows through; and set the threshold based on the maximum output information of the charging device.

摘要: An automatic rechargeable battery control module for a vehicle, such as a golf cart incorporates an automatic battery control system that automatically switches from charge to discharge modes with a single relay, thereby preventing the need to manually reset a relay switch due to an over or under voltage situation. An automatic battery control circuit is coupled with a battery management system and a relay contactor is opened and closed by a signal from the battery management system. The battery management system monitors a state of charge of the battery unit as well as current flow to and from a battery unit. The automatic rechargeable battery control module may have a state of charge output that is connected with a state of charge indicator to inform a driver of an approximate driving range or time remaining.

摘要: A charging system, a surge voltage protection method when charging a terminal (2) and a power adapter (1), wherein the charging system comprises: a power adapter (1) and a terminal (2). The power adapter (1) comprises: a first rectifying unit (101), a switching unit (102), a transformer (103), a second rectifying unit (104), a first charging port (105), a second voltage sampling circuit (114), a control unit (107), and a comparing unit (115); the control unit (107) adjusts a duty cycle of a control signal, such that the voltage of a third pulsation waveform outputted from the second rectifying unit (104) satisfies charging needs; the comparing unit (115) applies a comparison signal to the switching unit (102) when a sampled voltage is greater than a reference voltage, so as to control the switching unit (102) to enforce forcible turn-on. The terminal (2) comprises a second charging port (201) and a battery (202); the second charging port (201) and the battery (202) are connected; when the second charging port (201) is connected to the first charging port (105), the second charging port (201) applies the voltage of the third pulsation waveform to the battery (202), such that the voltage of a pulsation waveform which is outputted by the power adapter (1) is directly applied to the battery (202), thus implementing safety protection against lightning.

The determination unit performs a determination of whether a voltage obtained by the voltage-obtaining unit is equal to or greater than the completion-threshold-value determined by the threshold-value-determining unit when the attachment-detecting unit detects that the battery pack is attached to the battery charger. The completion-processing unit performs a specified battery-charge completion processing indicating unnecessity of charging of the battery by the battery charger when the determination unit determines that the obtained voltage is equal to or greater than the completion-threshold-value.

摘要: An apparatus and method for adjusting a charging condition of a secondary battery are provided. The apparatus includes: a controller configured to receive measurement results from a current measuring unit and a temperature measuring unit of the secondary battery, determine a charging current value and a current temperature value, determine a predicted overheat amount required to raise the temperature of the secondary battery from the current temperature to a threshold temperature for a preset reference time by using a predefined thermodynamic calculation equation, determine a predicted charging current required to generate the predicted overheat amount through charging, determine a predicted charging voltage expected when the predicted charging current flows through an equivalent circuit of the secondary battery, and when a condition of the predicted charging voltage being lower than a preset upper limit charging voltage is satisfied, adjust the upper limit charging voltage such that the upper limit charging voltage is lowered to the predicted charging voltage.
