Abstract: A method for real-time voice communication between mobile computing devices at a live event includes receiving a data representation of a live audio signal corresponding to the live event by a first mobile computing device via a wireless network. The method also includes processing the data representation of the live audio signal into a live audio stream. The method also includes initiating playback of the live audio stream via a headphone communicatively coupled to the first mobile computing device at the live event. The method also includes detecting a voice audio signal via a microphone communicatively coupled to the first mobile computing device at the live event. The method also includes adjusting a volume of the playback of the live audio stream to a decreased volume. The method also includes transmitting the voice audio signal to a second mobile computing device at the live event via the wireless network.

Abstract: A lift device having an implement, a prime mover configured to drive the implement, and a connectivity module communicably coupled with the lift device. The connectivity module is configured to determine a parameter set relating to the lift device, receive a request to provide a status of the component of the lift device, receive a measure associated with the attribute of the component of the lift device, compare the received measure and the threshold measure associated with the attribute of the component of the lift device, and provide, based on the comparison, an indication in accordance with the indication characteristic representing the status of the component of the lift device.

Abstract: Dispatch-aiding communications between computing devices of a responder and a dispatch unit include a computing device of the responder determining that an event occurred, automatically sending an indication of the event to a computing device of the dispatch unit, receiving a request for information from the computing device of the dispatch unit, obtaining the information requested by the computing device of the dispatch unit, and sending the information requested by the computing device of the dispatch unit to the computing device of the dispatch unit. The computing device of the dispatch unit sends the request for information to the computing device of the responder in response to receiving the indication of the event.

Abstract: A building management system, such as a small or medium business, having one or more control devices. Assigning codes to devices, and reading and listing them may aid in configuring the devices. Templates may be used for dynamic configuration of devices and equipment. Representing terminal assignments and wiring diagrams of control devices may be intuitive in that they resemble real hardware for ease of complete installation. The present system and approach may provide an intuitive way of securely registering devices with cloud usage, for example, involving a mobile phone with no manual entry of data so that a user can complete this process with ease. An intuitive, automatic and asynchronous device configuration downloading may be seen, such as to multiple control devices in a single shot. There may be seamless configuration data synchronization, for example, in view of replacement devices, or so the latest data is readily available.

Abstract: Tracking devices can be associated with safe zones, smart zones, and high risk zones. Safe zones correspond to regions where a likelihood that a tracking device is lost within the safe zone is lower than outside the safe zone. High risk zones correspond to regions where a likelihood that a tracking device is lost within the high risk zone is higher than outside the high risk zone. Smart zones correspond to an expected tracking device, mobile device, or user behavior. Home areas are geographic regions in which a user resides, and travel areas are geographic regions in which a user does not reside. A tracking device can be configured to operate in a mode selected based on a presence of the tracking device within a safe zone, a smart zone, a high risk zone, a home area, or a travel area.

The system includes at least one stationary location device affixed to an element of the environment; at least one mobile location device attached to a corresponding moveable asset positioned in the environment and a plurality of tagged assets in the environment. The plurality of tagged assets communicate with the at least one stationary location device and the at least one mobile location device. Abstract: The present application discloses an improved transportation matching system, and corresponding methods and computer-readable media. According to disclosed embodiments, a transportation matching system trains a predictive request model to generate a metric predicted to trigger an increase in transportation provider activity within the geographic area for a given time period. Furthermore, the system determines a predicted gap between expected request activity and expected transportation provider activity for the geographic area during a future time period, utilizes the predictive request model and the predicted gap to generate a metric for the geographic area, and generates an interactive map associated with a customized schedule for the geographic area and the future time period based on the generated metric.

The method includes the steps of storing affordance preferences in a database for a plurality of portable affordance settings that may be present at a workstation, detecting a subset of affordances present within a first zone associated with the workstation, for each detected affordance in the subset, identifying an affordance setting in the database indicating a user preference, and automatically controlling settings of at least each of the detected affordances in the subset to match the user preferences for the detected affordances.

Abstract: Systems and methods for localization and passive entry/passive start (PEPS) systems for vehicles are provided. A communication gateway in a vehicle configured to establish a Bluetooth low energy (BLE) communication connection with a portable device. Sensors are configured to measure signal information about a communication signal sent from the portable device. A localization module is configured to receive the signal information from the sensors and determine a location of the portable device based on the signal information. A passive entry/passive start (PEPS) system is configured to receive the location of the portable device from the localization module and perform a vehicle function including at least one of unlocking a door of the vehicle, unlocking a trunk of the vehicle, and allowing the vehicle to be started based on the location of the portable device. Each of the plurality of sensors are synchronized.
