摘要: A Machine Type Communication Inter Working Function (MTC-IWF) entity (1) includes a trigger controller (11) and a notification service controller (12). The trigger controller (11) controls a device trigger of an MTC device (3) requested from an SCS entity (2). The notification service controller (12) is configured to send, to the SCS entity (2), a subscription request for a notification service including providing a PLMN (5) with management information which is collected outside (4) the PLMN (5) regarding the MTC device (3), and receive, from the SCS entity, a message containing the management information (2) when the subscription request has been accepted. Accordingly, it is possible to contribute to, for example, improvement in collaborative and cooperative operations between the PLMN and an M2M service layer.

摘要: A roaming application in a core network receives a request to create a temporary roaming profile for a roaming user in the mobility management entity (MME) in response to a roaming pass being purchased by the roaming user for a user equipment (UE), stores, in the MME, the temporary roaming profile for the roaming user, wherein the temporary roaming profile includes an identity of the UE and an access point name (APN) associated with the roaming network, receives an attach message from the UE when the UE is located within a coverage area of the roaming network, wherein the attach message includes the identity of the UE, and creates a bearer between the UE and a packet network data gateway (PGW) of the roaming network based on the APN associated with the roaming network indicated in the temporary roaming profile for the roaming user.

The method includes receiving a registration accept message including steering of roaming (SoR) information from a VPLMN; in response to a security check of the SoR information being failed, adding the VPLMN to a SoR abort list including PLMNs where a registration was aborted due to SoR; and deleting the SoR abort list after a predetermined time period.

摘要: A mobile application gateway for connecting devices on a cellular network with individual networks, such as enterprise voice and data networks and/or residential networks. The effects of the present invention are far reaching in terms of transferring effective call control from the cellular network into the control of the individual network such as the enterprise, and enabling new business models for the purchase of cellular service from a public cellular carrier by an enterprise. The invention may consist of a primarily of core network and services components based on the IMS network architecture, and is backward compatible to support legacy systems in place in current telecom and data networks.

摘要: Embodiments herein provide a method for communication by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication network. The method comprises: determining a failure in transmission of a uplink non-access stratum (UL NAS) transport message, determining whether the failure in the transmission of the UL NAS transport message is due to a Tracking Area identity (TAI) change from lower layers, and handling the failure in the transmission of the UL NAS transport message based on a TAI list sent from the wireless communication network, in response to determining that the failure in the transmission of the UL NAS transport message is due to the TAI change from the lower layers.

摘要: Tracking devices can be associated with safe zones, smart zones, and high risk zones. Safe zones correspond to regions where a likelihood that a tracking device is lost within the safe zone is lower than outside the safe zone. High risk zones correspond to regions where a likelihood that a tracking device is lost within the high risk zone is higher than outside the high risk zone. Smart zones correspond to an expected tracking device, mobile device, or user behavior. Home areas are geographic regions in which a user resides, and travel areas are geographic regions in which a user does not reside. A tracking device can be configured to operate in a mode selected based on a presence of the tracking device within a safe zone, a smart zone, a high risk zone, a home area, or a travel area.

The wireless LAN terminal (10) attempts communication based on the communication rates included in the second information.

摘要: Embodiments of this application disclose a communication method and a communications apparatus, and are used in the field of communications technologies, to resolve a problem of how to notify an access network device of an NR PC5 QoS parameter of a terminal. The method in one embodiment includes a home V2XCF that obtains an NR PC5 QoS parameter of a terminal, and the home V2XCF sends the NR PC5 QoS parameter to an access network device, such as a first network element that is in an EPS. The first network element receives the NR PC5 QoS parameter and sends the NR PC5 QoS parameter to an MME. After receiving the NR PC5 QoS parameter, the MME sends the NR PC5 QoS parameter to an access network device. The first network element may be an HSS or a PCRF.
