Abstract: This application provides a communication method and apparatus, so that a terminal device reports an RLF report related to whether link recovery for an MCG succeeds. The terminal device separately communicates with a first network device and a second network device, where the first network device manages a first MCG, the second network device manages a first SCG, and an MCG link recovery function is configured for the first SCG. After determining that a radio link failure RLF occurs in the first MCG, the terminal device sends a first RLF report to a third network device, where the first RLF report is related to whether link recovery for the first MCG succeeds.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to performing beam failure recovery during an inter-cell connection involving a UE in communication with one or more base stations in a cellular communication system. In various embodiments, a user equipment determines one or more beam failures by monitoring one or more reference signals transmitted by one or more base stations, where the UE is connected to the one or more base stations. The UE further performs candidate beam detection by monitoring at least one candidate reference signal that is transmitted by one or more candidate base stations, where at least one candidate base station (a first candidate base station) is different from the one or more base stations to which the UE was previously communicating. The UE selects the first candidate base station based on the candidate beam detection, and transmits a beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) message to the first candidate base station based on the selection.

In response to determining that the mobile device should be forced to attempt to reestablish the connection with the wireless router, the wireless router disables the first wireless network. Abstract: A method and system that support re-establishing a dropped call or communication is disclosed. A terminal may publish its parameters to other terminals through in-band or out-of-band signaling. Token values may then be determined by a weighted sum of parameters, where the terminal having the largest weighted sum possesses the token. If the call or communication drops, the terminal possessing the token then initiates communication to the other terminals. In addition, a plurality of tokens may be used when there are more than two terminals in a call. The terminals may be partitioned into groups, where one of the terminals in each group possesses a token.

Abstract: A wireless device receives one or more configuration parameters indicating a time window for controlling a radio link failure indication based on a beam failure recovery procedure. A first failure of the beam failure recovery procedure is determined during the time window. The first failure is ignored by not causing a radio link failure in response to the first failure being during the time window. A second failure of the beam failure recovery procedure after the time window is determined. A radio link failure in response to the second failure is indicated.
