The server can receive a first signal from a first monitored system comprising an internal combustion engine and a first sensor, the first signal associated with a first occurrence of an internal combustion engine event, a second occurrence of the internal combustion engine event, and first measurement data of the first sensor. The server can determine a first measurement from the first measurement data. The server can determine a second measurement from the first measurement data. The server can determine a measurement deviation between the first measurement and the second measurement. The server can compare the measurement deviation to a stored measurement threshold. The server can determine a first exhibited useful life of the first sensor based on the measurement deviation and at least one of the first measurement or the second measurement.

摘要: A fuel pump system for aircraft includes an auxiliary fuel pump in-line with the primary pump, and an electric motor driving the auxiliary fuel pump at an operational motor speed. The system includes an electric control circuit (ECC) and a pressure sensor to regulate the speed of the electric motor based on the output pressure from the sensor to maintain a constant predetermined output pressure. The system may have additional fault mitigation circuitry configured to automatically switch from a processor-controlled to a fixed voltage as a source of power driving the electric motor at either a regulated speed or a constant fixed speed, respectively. The system may include a switch having user-selectable operational modes, including ECC-controlled mode and a high boost mode selectable if the ECC fails. In high boost mode, the ECC is bypassed to drive the electric motor at a fixed safe speed.

摘要: An engine control system according to the present disclosure includes an oil temperature sensor and a waste gate valve control unit. The oil temperature sensor detects a temperature of an engine oil. The waste gate valve control unit controls opening and closing of a waste gate valve based on the temperature of the engine oil detected by the oil temperature sensor. More specifically, when the temperature of the engine oil detected by the oil temperature sensor is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold, the waste gate valve control unit controls the waste gate valve so that it opens.

摘要: A heating system includes at least one electric heater disposed within a fluid flow system and a control device that is configured to determine a temperature of the at least one electric heater based on a model, at least one fluid flow system input, and at least one heater input. The at least one heater input includes at least one physical characteristic of the heating system, the at least one physical characteristic includes at least one of a resistance wire diameter, a heater insulation thickness, a heater sheath thickness, a conductivity, a specific heat and density of the material of the heater, an emissivity of the heater and the fluid flow pathway, and combinations thereof. The control device is configured to provide power to the at least one electric heater based on the temperature of the at least one electric heater.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for rationalizing a hydrocarbon sensor in a hybrid vehicle, the hydrocarbon sensor used for feed-forward air/fuel ratio control during fuel vapor canister purging events. In one example, a method comprises routing blow-by gasses from a crankcase of an engine of the vehicle to an intake manifold of the engine and then to a fuel vapor storage canister, and indicating whether the hydrocarbon sensor is functioning as desired based on a magnitude of a response of the hydrocarbon sensor during the routing. In this way, the hydrocarbon sensor may be diagnosed under conditions when the canister is substantially free from fuel vapors, and where engine run-time is limited.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for diagnosis of an oxygen probe for a combustion engine, with the steps: When an engine's fuel injection is inactive, measuring the output electric voltage from the oxygen probe; If the measured output electrical voltage of the oxygen probe is greater than a predetermined minimum voltage threshold, measuring a pressure prevailing in an intake distributor of the engine; If the measured pressure in the intake distributor is less than a predetermined minimum pressure threshold, increasing the pressure to a value greater than the predetermined minimum pressure threshold; Determining the time period between the time when the output electrical voltage of the probe falls below a second predetermined voltage threshold and the time when the output electrical voltage of the probe falls below a third predetermined voltage threshold; and diagnosing the oxygen probe depending on elapsed the time period.

摘要: A method for testing a moisture sensor of a diesel engine includes: measuring, by an NOx sensor, an untreated NOx emissions content in exhaust gas of the diesel engine upstream of a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) catalytic converter at particular steady-state operating points in a defined window, to obtain an actual concentration value of NOx emissions; determining an oxygen concentration in intake air from an intake pipe of the diesel engine, and converting the result obtained from the determination, by a characteristic curve, into an NOx concentration to obtain a model value of NOx concentration; comparing the actual value with the model value; and identifying a faulty condition of the moisture sensor if a deviation that exceeds a set value (R) is detected between the actual and model values.
