摘要: A liquid crystal composition is provided. The liquid crystal composition includes a liquid crystal body, a first monomer, and an initiator. The first monomer is selected from one of a monomer shown in formula 1, a monomer shown in formula 2, and a monomer shown in formula 3; wherein the definitions of R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, and R6 are as provided in the specification. Based on the total weight of the liquid crystal composition, the content of the liquid crystal body is 50 wt % to 90 wt %, the content of the first monomer is 2 wt % to 30 wt %, and the content of the initiator is 0.5 wt % to 3 wt %.

摘要: There is provided adhesive tapes for mounting flexographic printing plates having a foam substrate and two adhesive layers on either side of the foam substrate, where the adhesive layers may include a polymer component obtainable by free-radical polymerization: a) 50 wt % or greater linear or branched acrylic esters having 2 or more carbon atoms in the alkyl radical, b) 22.5 wt % to 46.5 wt % linear, cyclic or branched acrylic esters having 1 to 20 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical, and c) greater than 3.5 wt % to 27.5 wt % of highly polar vinyl substituted monomers, where the polymer component has a glass transition temperature value of between −22° C. and −7° C. according to the Fox method and based on measurement of the homopolymers of the monomers in (a), (b), and (c) by modulated DSC, and further wherein the polymer component has a solubility parameter between 9.58 (cal/cm2)1/2 and 9.99 (cal/cm2)1/2 according to the Fedors method. In a preferred embodiment, the linear or branched acrylic esters in (a) are selected from at least one of isooctyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, n-butyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, and combinations thereof; wherein the linear or branched acrylic esters in (b) is isobornyl acrylate; and wherein the highly polar vinyl-substituted monomers in (c) is acrylic acid.

摘要: The invention relates to a method of preparation for polymers, particularly binders for powder coatings and powder coatings which are prepared as a solution in a supercritical fluid phase. Binders for powder coatings are prepared from at least two ethylenically unsaturated monomers capable of free-radical or ionic copolymerization, and conventional initiators and regulators in supercritical fluids, whereby polymerization is carried out in the homogeneous phase, and, after the reaction has ended, either the composition or the phase parameters of the mixture are altered so that at least two phases with supercritical fluid are obtained, and the phase containing predominantly polymer is separated and the polymer is separated as a powder from the sc fluid by depressurization or the polymer phase is further processed under supercritical phase conditions to the powder coating.

摘要: The present invention is directed to two component coating compositions that cure under ambient conditions and more particularly to those having low VOC (volatile organic content) that are suitable for use in automotive refinish and Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) applications. The coating composition includes crosslinkable and crosslinking components, wherein the crosslinkable component includes a low polydispersity, low molecular weight copolymer having on an average 2 to 25 functional groups, such as hydroxyl, carboxyl, acetoacetoxy, primary and secondary amine, and epoxy. The copolymer is polymerized from a monomer mixture that includes one or more non-functional acrylate monomers and one or more functional methacrylate monomers provided with the functional groups. The crosslinking component includes polyisocyanate, polyamine, ketimine, melamine, epoxy, polyacid or a combination thereof. The invention is also directed to coating produced from the coating composition.

摘要: Provided are a curable composition for imprints which is capable of both improving releasability and suppressing occurrence of waviness during etching, as well as a cured product, a pattern forming method, a lithography method, a pattern, and a lithography mask, each of which uses the curable composition for imprints. The curable composition for imprints includes a monofunctional polymerizable compound, a polyfunctional polymerizable compound containing at least one of an alicyclic structure or an aromatic ring structure and having a viscosity at 25° C. of 150 mPa·s or less, and a photopolymerization initiator, in which the monofunctional polymerizable compound is contained in an amount of 5 to 30 mass % with respect to the total polymerizable compound in the curable composition for imprints, and the cured film of the curable composition for imprints has a modulus of elasticity of 3.5 GPa or less and a glass transition temperature of 90° C. or higher.
