Abstract: A method for the drive control of actuators of at least one wheel of a vehicle. The method includes: sensing a desired acceleration; sensing a vehicle velocity of the vehicle; sensing a wheel velocity of the wheel determining a status description of the wheel from the wheel velocity and a wheel acceleration; determining a first value of a target wheel acceleration from the status description, a slip of the wheel, and the desired acceleration; determining a second value of the target wheel acceleration from the wheel velocity, the wheel acceleration and the slip, wherein the second value is a function of correction factors of at least one matrix; and determining a third value of the target wheel acceleration, which value controls the actuators of the at least one wheel, wherein the third value is a function of the first value and of the second value.

Abstract: A computer system comprising a processor device configured to control an acceleration of a vehicle is provided. The vehicle comprises a set of auxiliary brakes. The processor device obtains an acceleration condition of the vehicle. The acceleration condition being indicative of any one out of: an acceleration of the vehicle, the absolute value of which is below a predetermined acceleration limit value; a predefined positive acceleration of the vehicle, and a predefined negative acceleration of the vehicle. The processor device is further configured to, in response to determining that the vehicle can be controlled in accordance with the obtained acceleration condition using the set of auxiliary brakes, control the set of auxiliary brakes in accordance with the obtained acceleration condition of the vehicle.

Abstract: A wheel slip control method for a vehicle is provided, and includes estimating equivalent inertia information of a driving system based on operation information of the driving system while a vehicle travels, determining whether the slip of a drive wheel occurs from the estimated equivalent inertia information of the driving system, determining whether the drive wheel is in an uneven wheel slip state where the slip occurs only in one of a left wheel and a right wheel of the drive wheel from a left wheel speed and a right wheel speed detected by a sensor, if it is determined that the slip of the drive wheel occurs, and controlling an operation of a braking device such that a braking force is applied to the vehicle wheel in which the slip occurs, if it is determined that the vehicle wheel is in the uneven wheel slip state.

Abstract: A motor control device is provided with: an electric motor which drives an applying mechanism for applying torque to the wheels of a vehicle, and has three coils; a drive circuit that supplies current individually to the three coils; and a controller that controls the drive circuit on the basis of the operation amount of an operating member of the vehicle, and adjusts the output of the electric motor. When the vehicle is stopped, the controller executes swing control to periodically increase or decrease the rotary motion of the electric motor, even if the constant state of the operation amount is continued after the operation amount is constant, and the power generated by the applying mechanism and the power received by the applying mechanism are equalized and the rotary motion of the electric motor has stopped.

Abstract: Brake fluid inside a first wheel cylinder is pressurized by using a first pressure-regulating mechanism and brake fluid inside a second wheel cylinder is pressurized by using a second pressure-regulating mechanism. If a determination means determines that the first pressure-regulating mechanism action is in an unsuitable state and the second pressure-regulating mechanism action is in a suitable state, the control means pressurizes the brake fluid inside the first wheel cylinder by using a master cylinder and pressurizes the brake fluid inside the second wheel cylinder by using the second pressure-regulating mechanism, when an operation volume is less than a value. When the operation volume has reached the value, the control means pressurizes the brake fluid inside the first and second wheel cylinders by using the second pressure-regulating mechanism.

Abstract: A vehicle braking system includes a brake pedal, master cylinder, a braking circuit with a wheel cylinder, and a brake pressure generator. A pedal feel simulator is coupled to the master cylinder output side through a switchable valve, the pedal feel simulator providing a reaction force. An isolation valve closes to isolate the braking circuit from the master cylinder and the simulator circuit. A primary pressure sensor generates a braking request signal responsive to the brake pedal. A controller activates the brake pressure generator to apply a braking force to the wheel cylinder based on the braking request signal. The controller identifies an abnormal value from the primary pressure sensor and couples the pedal feel simulator with a secondary pressure sensor within the braking circuit to determine whether the abnormal value indicates a primary pressure sensor malfunction or a malfunction of the pedal feel simulator or the switchable simulator valve.

Abstract: A method for determining a wet surface condition of a road. Capturing an image of a wheel of a remote vehicle traveling in an adjacent lane by an image capture device of a host vehicle. Identifying in the captured image, by processor of a host vehicle, a region of interest relative to the wheel where the region of interest is representative of where precipitation dispersion occurs. A determination is made whether precipitation is present in the region of interest. A wet road surface signal is generated in response to the identification of precipitation in the adjacent lane.

Abstract: A brake ECU of a vehicle braking control device, during execution of brake pressurization control, performs actuation restriction control that restricts actuation of a motor as an arbitrary upstream fluid pressure (M/C pressure) that is the brake pressure input from the M/C side of the brake fluid pressure control actuator becomes higher. The brake ECU has a threshold value changing unit that sets at least the starting threshold value at a high level when the upstream fluid pressure (M/C pressure) is high compared to when low, and as actuation restriction control actuates the motor to pump out the brake fluid from inside of the reservoirs when the reservoir fluid volume exceeds the starting threshold value, and stops the motor when the reservoir fluid volume equals the stop threshold value.
