摘要: A brake system for actuating front and rear wheel brakes includes a reservoir and a master cylinder operable during a manual push-through mode by actuation of a brake pedal to generate brake actuating pressure at a first output for hydraulically actuating the pair of front wheel brakes. A power transmission unit is configured for selectively providing pressurized hydraulic fluid for actuating the pair of front wheel brakes and the pair of rear wheel brakes during a braking event. First and second two-position three-way valves are provided. Each three-way valve is hydraulically connected with the master cylinder, the power transmission unit, and a selected one of the front wheel brakes. Each of the first and second three-way valves selectively controls hydraulic fluid flow from a chosen one of the master cylinder and the power transmission unit to the selected one of the pair of front wheel brakes.

摘要: A method for operating a motor vehicle brake installation. An electrically controllable pressure modulation device having a pump-valve arrangement is hydraulically arranged between the primary brake system and the front axle brakes. The pump-valve arrangement includes, for each front brake, a first valve, arranged between the inlet valve of the primary brake system and the brake, and an electrically activatable pump, with a suction and pressures ports. The pressure port is connected to the brake. In the presence of a predetermined condition of the primary brake system and of an actuation of the master brake cylinder by the driver, a build-up of brake pressure at the front axle brakes is performed by the pump-valve arrangement. The pressure set by the pump-valve arrangement is higher than the brake pressure in the master brake cylinder, whereas the brake pressure of the master brake cylinder prevails at the brakes of the rear axle.

摘要: A vehicle braking system includes a brake pedal, master cylinder, a braking circuit with a wheel cylinder, and a brake pressure generator. A pedal feel simulator is coupled to the master cylinder output side through a switchable valve, the pedal feel simulator providing a reaction force. An isolation valve closes to isolate the braking circuit from the master cylinder and the simulator circuit. A primary pressure sensor generates a braking request signal responsive to the brake pedal. A controller activates the brake pressure generator to apply a braking force to the wheel cylinder based on the braking request signal. The controller identifies an abnormal value from the primary pressure sensor and couples the pedal feel simulator with a secondary pressure sensor within the braking circuit to determine whether the abnormal value indicates a primary pressure sensor malfunction or a malfunction of the pedal feel simulator or the switchable simulator valve.

摘要: A method of preventing a sensitive brake for preventing an excessive brake of a vehicle may include measuring conditions for determining a sensitive brake environment of a vehicle, terminating a brake when the conditions measured do not correspond to a preset sensitive brake environment, and when the conditions correspond to the sensitive brake environment, controlling a brake apparatus of the vehicle to be operated in a sensitive brake preventing mode, executing a first brake in a sensitive brake mode, comparing whether a value of an index of deceleration to a pedal effort at the first brake executed in the sensitive mode is larger than a predetermined value, and terminating the brake when the value of the index is smaller than the predetermined value, and repeatedly performing the brake in the sensitive brake mode when the value of the index is larger than the predetermined value.

At this time, when the first protrusion abuts on the guide face thereby driving the first valve element to the position where the valve opens, the first valve element is also pressed in a direction perpendicular to the reciprocating direction of the first valve element because the guide face has a spherical surface or a tapered surface. Thus, the first valve element is supported at two points, point E and point F or G, thereby dampening vibrations.

In addition, a method for controlling a corresponding brake system is also described.

A method for avoiding a collision between the vehicle and the at least one object includes, upon sensing the at least one object, modifying a driving speed and/or driving direction of the vehicle, with the aid of the control device in combination with the braking system and the braking force-regulating components.

At least one connecting channel hydraulically connects the operating brake pressure inlet to the outlet. Brake fluid is supplied from a storage unit through the brake cylinder, the connecting channel and the operating brake modulator. The braking unit has a brake fluid inlet, through which the brake fluid is received from the storage unit, a brake fluid pump, by which the brake fluid is suctioned through the brake fluid inlet and a supply pressure is built up, and a valve unit that controls the outlet braking pressure and/or a parking brake release pressure by the supply pressure.

摘要: A brake ECU of a vehicle braking control device, during execution of brake pressurization control, performs actuation restriction control that restricts actuation of a motor as an arbitrary upstream fluid pressure (M/C pressure) that is the brake pressure input from the M/C side of the brake fluid pressure control actuator becomes higher. The brake ECU has a threshold value changing unit that sets at least the starting threshold value at a high level when the upstream fluid pressure (M/C pressure) is high compared to when low, and as actuation restriction control actuates the motor to pump out the brake fluid from inside of the reservoirs when the reservoir fluid volume exceeds the starting threshold value, and stops the motor when the reservoir fluid volume equals the stop threshold value.
