In response to the primary brake control unit being placed in an active mode, the primary brake control unit is configured to send data on a set of channels to control brake operation of at least one brake, while the alternate brake control unit is configured to monitor brake temperature on another, separate set of channels coupled to at least one brake temperature sensor associated with the at least one brake.

摘要: A brake system includes a first electric power-supply-unit (EPSU) and a first electronic-brake-control-unit (EBCU). The first EBCU is connected to the first EPSU. Also, the brake system includes a second EPSU and a second EBCU, which is connected to the second EPSU. The brake system further includes a first axle-pressure-modulator (APM) for service-brake-chambers associated with a first vehicle-axle. The brake system includes a second APM for spring-brake-cylinders for a second vehicle-axle. The brake system includes two power-supply-switches (PSS). A first PSS is connected to the first EBCU, the second EBCU and the first APM and configured to connect the first EBCU or the second EBCU to the first APM. A second PSS is connected to the first EBCU, the second EBCU and the second APM and configured to connect the first EBCU or the second EBCU to the second APM.

An example method can include a system determining a fault occurring in a braking system of an autonomous vehicle (AV) operating in an autonomous mode, the braking system comprising a first braking system and a second braking system, the fault occurring in at least one of the first braking system and the second braking system, and the AV using the first braking system. The system can further determine whether to switch from using the first braking system based at least in part on determining the fault. The system can further transmit to an alert system of the AV, a request to generate an alert for manual control of the AV based at least in part on determining the fault. The system can further deactivate the autonomous mode of the AV based at least in part on determining the fault.

The method portion includes: when a vehicle is in a preset parking state, monitoring state signal of a vehicle system in real time, the vehicle system comprises a service brake system, a reversing assistance system, and a plurality of electronic parking brake systems; determining whether the vehicle meets a preset fault condition according to the state signals of the service brake system, the electric parking brake system and reversing assistance system; activating a non-faulty electronic parking brake system to control the vehicle to park if it is determined that the vehicle meets the preset fault condition. The present disclosure ensures the safety of a vehicle during low-speed remote parking when the vehicle is in a preset parking state, and solves the problem of potential safety hazards caused by having no matching control solution. Also provided are a corresponding device and a storage medium.

摘要: Disclosed herein are an electromechanical brake system and a control method thereof. In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided an electromechanical brake system including electromechanical brakes respectively provided on four wheels of a vehicle, a sensor part that outputs a signal which corresponds to or is capable of estimating whether each of the electromechanical brakes is normal and a driver demand braking torque generated based on the speed and lateral acceleration of the vehicle and a brake pedal operation of a driver, and a controller that estimates a demand braking torque based on the signal received from the sensor part and determines whether the electromechanical brakes are normal, wherein the controller performs a braking control as much as the demand braking torque based on the determination that the electromechanical brakes are normal, and performs a braking control by distributing, within a range of the demand braking torque, braking torques based on the lateral acceleration of the vehicle to the respective other electromechanical brakes except the electromechanical brake determined to malfunction based on the determination that there is a malfunction of any one among the electromechanical brakes.

摘要: A brake system includes a power transmission unit with a first electric motor. An iso/dump control valve arrangement is associated with each wheel brake of first and second pairs of wheel brakes. At least two pump pistons are provided, each pump piston being associated with at least one wheel brake. The at least two pump pistons are driven by a second electric motor for selectively providing pressurized hydraulic fluid to the iso/dump control valve arrangement of the at least one associated wheel brake in at least a backup braking mode. A dual lane electronic control unit is provided for controlling the first electric motor. The dual lane electronic control unit includes first and second ECU lanes. A single lane electronic control unit is provided for controlling the second electric motor.
