    Abstract: Method for controlling of at least two electric motors (230A, 230B) of an electric lift truck (200), each of the at least two electric motors (230A, 230B) controlled with a respective electrical drive (244A, 244B) and arranged to generate a torque to a respective drive wheel (210), the method comprising: generating a respective control signal to each of the respective electrical drive (244A, 244B) in response to a detection that a speed of the lift truck (200) is below a reference value and that a steering angle is within a reference range, the respective control signal carrying an speed orders (01, 02) for the each respective electrical drive (244A, 244B) for generating torques to the drive wheels (210).     Abstract: When a braking operation amount is reduced, a stiffness value representing a ratio of variation in actual pressing force of a friction member to a variation in actual position of an electric motor are sequentially computed. The actual position when the stiffness value changes from being higher than or equal to a predetermined value to being lower than the predetermined value is stored as a candidate position. When a duration during which the stiffness value is lower than the predetermined value is shorter than a clearance corresponding value corresponding to a transmission member clearance in a state where the candidate position is stored, the candidate position is deleted. When the duration during which the stiffness value is lower than the predetermined value exceeds the clearance corresponding value, the stored candidate position is determined as a reference position at which the friction member and the rotary member begin contacting each other.

    Abstract: An electromagnetic brake pedal feel simulation system may simulate the feel of a manual brake pedal when force is applied to a power-assist brake pedal mounted to an arm. The electromagnetic brake pedal feel simulation system may include an electromagnetic movement resistance device. The device may mechanically couple to the power-assist brake pedal pad or arm and may apply a controllable amount of force against a braking force that is applied to a power-assist brake pedal pad that is a function of the amount of a drive signal current. The electromagnetic movement resistance device may include a pair of magnets having both of their north or south poles facing each other and that come closer together as force is applied to the power-assist brake pedal pad. At least one of the magnets may be an electromagnetic to which the drive signal current may be applied. The electromagnetic brake pedal feel simulation system may include a brake pedal position sensor that senses the position of the power-assist brake pedal pad or arm. A controller may be electrically connected to at least one electromagnet and to the brake pedal position sensor. The controller may cause the amount of the drive signal current to vary based on the position of the power-assist brake pedal pad or arm, as sensed by the sensor.

    Abstract: A method is provided for operating an electromechanical vehicle brake system having an ESP module and at least two brake circuits, each brake circuit comprising high and low pressure switching valves, a low pressure storage device, and two wheel brakes. The method comprises, in advance of a possible breaking procedure and based on a trigger factor, filling the low pressure storage device with an amount of brake fluid at a first pre-pressure. Subsequently, an ESP pump is used to fill the vehicle brake system, including the low pressure storage device, with an adjustable amount of final pre-pressure. All valves are closed when the final pre-pressure is achieved. The method further comprises, during a braking procedure, opening respective inlet valves of the wheel brakes and supplying at least a part of the final pre-pressure to at least one wheel brake of the vehicle brake system.
