Other embodiments are also possible.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a laminated film and an apparatus for manufacturing a laminated film obtains a laminated film including a cured layer having a uniform thickness at the time of manufacturing a laminated film obtained by sandwiching the cured layer obtained by curing an actinic ray curable-type resin between two sheets of films. Steps include forming a coating film of a coating solution containing an actinic ray curable-type resin on the surface of a first film while continuously transporting the first film, laminating a second film on the coating film while continuously transporting the second film, and forming a cured layer of the coating film by irradiating the coating film with an actinic ray while continuously transporting the coating film by sandwiching the coating film between the first film and the second film, in a state where the first film is being wound around a backup roller.

摘要: A method for connection of fittings together as well as a fitting connection are provided. The fitting connection includes first and second fitting parts. The first fitting part has an external circumferential groove, and the second fitting part has at least one circumferential slot located in the wall aligned with the external circumferential groove in an assembled position of the first and second fitting parts. At least one flow hole extends from a sealing space defined between the external circumferential groove and the at least one circumferential slot to an exterior of at least one of the first fitting part or the second fitting part. A curable liquid material is injected through the flow hole into the sealing space defined between the external circumferential groove and the slot. Once cured, the liquid material forms a sealed, form-locked connection between the first and second fitting parts.

摘要: A method for creating a termination by attaching some kind of fitting to the end of a tensile member such as a cable. The end fitting is provided with an internal cavity. The cavity has a proximal portion that is adjacent to the area where the tensile member exits the fitting and a distal portion on its opposite end. A length of the tensile member's filaments is placed within this expanding cavity and infused with liquid potting compound. The method exploits the characteristic of a liquid potting compound as it transitions to a solid. The potting compound in one portion of the cavity is typically transitioned to a solid at a more rapid rate than other portions. Once the potting compound in one portion of the cavity has transitioned sufficiently to hold the filaments at the desired level, tension is placed on the tensile member and a small linear displacement may be imposed on the tensile member. This linear displacement tends to pull the filaments residing in the potting compound into better alignment and improve load sharing.

摘要: Two workpieces composed of a resin workpiece and a resin workpiece, or composed of a resin workpiece and a glass substrate are bonded to each other such that troubles, such as an alignment shift and breakage etc. are not generated, while ensuring bonding uniformity. A first workpiece is placed on an inverting stage of an inverting stage unit, a second workpiece is placed on a work stage of a pressurizing stage unit, and UV light is radiated from a light irradiation unit. Then, the inverting stage is inverted 180°, the workpieces are overlapped each other on the work stage, and the workpieces are pressurized and pre-bonded to each other. Then, the workpieces in the pre-bonded state are transferred to a heating stage by a transfer means, the temperature of the workpieces is increased to a predetermined temperature by heating the workpieces, and the temperature is maintained until bonding is completed.
