Abstract: The invention concerns a process for the preparation of a catalyst starting from a pre-catalyst comprising at least one catalytic metal and a support, said pre-catalyst having undergone a heat treatment at at least 60° C. without calcining, in which process said pre-catalyst is impregnated with a basic solution having a pH of more than 7.5 and containing at least one molecule in the zwitterionic form, and the impregnated pre-catalyst is dried at a temperature of at most 240° C. without subsequent calcining.The molecule in the zeolite form is selected from the group formed by amino-alcohol acids containing secondary or tertiary amine groups and containing at least one carboxylic acid function (and preferably only one) and at least one alcohol function. It is bicine or tricine, for example.The invention also concerns the catalyst prepared using this process, and its use in hydrotreatment and/or hydroconversion.

Abstract: Zn-promoted and/or Ga-promoted cracking catalysts, such as cracking catalysts comprising an MSE framework zeolite or an MFI framework zeolite can provide unexpectedly superior conversion of branched paraffins when used as part of a catalyst during reforming of a hydrocarbon fuel stream. The conversion and reforming of the hydrocarbon fuel stream can occur, for example, in an internal combustion engine. The conversion and reforming can allow for formation of higher octane compounds from the branched paraffins.

Abstract: Provided is a phosphorus-containing ultrastable Y-type rare earth (RE) molecular sieve and the preparation method thereof. The method is: based on NaY molecular sieve as a raw material, obtaining “one-exchange one-roast” RE-Na Y-type molecular sieve through the steps of exchanging with RE, pre-exchanging with dispersing, and the first calcination; and then performing ammonium salt exchange, phosphorus modification, and the second calcination on the “one-exchange one-roast” RE-Na Y-type molecular sieve, wherein the sequence of the RE exchange and the pre-exchange with dispersing is unlimited, and the sequence of the ammonium salt exchange and the phosphorus modification is unlimited as well. The obtained molecular sieve contains RE oxide 1-20 wt %, phosphorus 0.1-5 wt %, and sodium oxide no more than 1.2 wt %, and has a crystallization degree of 51-69% and a lattice parameter of 2.449-2.469 nm. Heavy oil conversion rate can be increased by using the molecular sieve as an active component in a catalytic cracking catalyst.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a catalyst for synthesizing ethylenimine as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The related catalyst comprises a carrier and metal ions loaded on the carrier; the carrier is a composite oxide comprising titanium, silicon and phosphorus elements; the metal ions are magnesium ions, iron ions and cesium ions; the molar ratio of the magnesium ions to the iron ions to the cesium ions is (1-10):1:0.1; the mass of all metal ions is 0.5-10 percent of that of the carrier. In the related preparation method, a catalyst precursor is roasted at the temperature of 350-650° C., so that the catalyst is obtained; the catalyst precursor is the mixture of the carrier, soluble salt of magnesium, soluble salt of iron and soluble salt of cesium. The present invention also provides the application of the catalyst to synthesis of the ethylenimine by using amino alcohol as the raw material. Compared with a common catalyst which has the requirement on the temperature of over 400° C., the catalyst of the present invention obviously reduces the reaction temperature. The prepared catalyst can catalyze the intramolecular dehydration reaction of the amino alcohol and has relatively excellent selectivity.
