摘要: A bioprosthetic valve and a preparation method thereof are provided. The bioprosthetic valve includes a stent and a functional biological tissue material attached to the stent. The functional biological tissue material is a biologicaltissue covalently bonded with an active group and a functional molecule or group. The method improves the anti-thrombosis and anti-calcification functions by covalently modifying the surface of a biological valve using an active group and a functional molecule or group with a substantial degree of grafting. The new bioprosthetic valve does not include aldehyde residues, exhibits excellent biocompatibility, optimal mechanical properties, high stability, and can meet the performance requirements of a biological valve delivered through a catheter.

摘要: The present invention relates to a silk fibroin/hydroxyapatite composite material, and a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. A uniform mixture of hydroxyapatite nanoparticles, silk fibroin, and hexafluoroisopropanol is maintained at a temperature range from 50° C. to 60° C. for at least 1 hour to obtain a silk fibroin/hydroxyapatite solution; the silk fibroin/hydroxyapatite solution is poured into a long cylindrical mold, two ends of the long cylindrical mold being respectively an end A and an end B; at room temperature, the end A is opened and the end B is closed, and the mold is vertically immersed in methanol with the opening facing up and let stand for at least 2 days; the mold is turned upside down, the end A is closed and the end B is opened, and the mold is vertically immersed in the methanol with the opening facing up and let stand for at least 2 days; the mold is removed, and ventilation and drying are performed to obtain a silk fibroin/hydroxyapatite composite material. The silk fibroin/hydroxyapatite composite material prepared in the present invention has uniform strength, good mechanical properties, and significant osteoinductivity.

摘要: Provided are methods, devices and compositions for reducing and/or inhibiting postsurgical tissue adhesion using a hydrogel film disposed onto a target tissue, thereby providing an adhesion barrier that remains over said target tissue for a prescribed period of time. In some embodiments, the hydrogel film is formed by the gelation of a pre-gel mixture applied onto the target tissue as a plurality of particles having an average maximum dimension, such as diameter, of at most about 500 μm. In some embodiments, the hydrogel film has a minimum storage modulus of 100 Pa. In some embodiments, the pre-gel mixture comprises an ECM digest having a collagen to carbohydrate ratio (by mass) of at least 70:1.

摘要: A method for maintaining a medical device in place in a lumen of a hollow organ of a patient for a period of months or years includes not using a metal or bioresorbable self-expandable stent. Optionally, a platelet rich plasma (PRP) solution can be applied to a stent to integrate the stent into an interior passageway of a patient. The stent can optionally be formed of a nitinol and inserted through a mouth of the patient. Sutures can be used to attach the stent to the interior passageway of the patient.

摘要: Disclosed herein are a cocoon-based, dental barrier membrane for guided bone regeneration and a method for manufacturing the same. The cocoon-based, dental barrier membrane is manufactured by dividing a cocoon into two or more fragments in a predetermined form, the cocoon having a shell having a first thickness. The dental barrier membrane is biocompatible, has excellent tensile strength and porosity, and promotes osteogenesis in a bone defect.
