    摘要: A system and a method for providing farmers/producers with crop characteristic predictions for standing crops located in fields includes a central database for storing field and crop information for the crops. A weather data processor receives raw weather data from either or both of (1) a weather data service with collected weather data from a plurality of weather stations; and (2) one or more site-specific weather stations associated with a particular field whose information is in the database. The raw weather data are processed to obtain field weather parameters for entry into a crop characteristic prediction equation, and the parameters are stored in the central database. With a user interface, a crop whose information is stored in the central database is selected. A computer calculates a crop characteristic prediction for the selected field based on the crop and field information stored in the central database, including the field weather parameters in the database, and the crop characteristic prediction formula. The producer uses the prediction to determine time of harvest. In one embodiment, the crops are alfalfa crops and the crop characteristic is neutral detergent fiber content.

The plurality of antennas include a first transmit antenna coupled to a first transceiver circuit region among the plurality of transceiver circuit regions, a first receive antenna coupled to the first transceiver circuit region, a second transmit antenna coupled to a second transceiver circuit region among the plurality of transceiver circuit regions, and a second receive antenna coupled to the second transceiver circuit region. At least one of the second transmit antenna and the second receive antenna is interleaved between the first transmit antenna and the first receive antenna. Interleaving of the antennas can increase virtual aperture and angular resolution of the radar system without increasing physical dimensions of the transceiver assembly.

    摘要: A conventional grenade shell launcher contains a laser generator shell thin which directs a blinding flash of light at an adversary to temporarily induce blindness of the adversary carrying out unlawful or dangerous actions such as pointing a weapon at police officers or others. The laser generator shell can be rapidly removed from the launcher, and conventional tear gas grenades or the like can be fired by the grenade launcher at the adversary to induce his surrender. This mode of operation is enabled by detachably coupling a laser triggering transmitter to the launcher. The wide angle light beam directed at the adversary also eliminates the need to accurately aim the device to disable the adversary.
