Abstract: This disclosure relates to a privacy preserving geofencing system and method thereof. The method includes receiving a current location data of a vehicle. The current location data may homomorphically encrypted through a homomorphic encryption technique. The method further includes randomly generating at least two secure values corresponding to the current location data of the vehicle. The method further includes combining the at least two secure values with the current location data of the vehicle. The method further includes sharing a combination of the current location data and the at least two secure values to a computing server. The method further includes computing the current location data of the vehicle obfuscated with the at least two secure values to obtain a computed result. The computed result may determine if the vehicle is within a predefined geofencing region based on one or more geofencing criteria.

Abstract: A system including a tracking device, sensors, and an operations management engine (OME), and a method for managing operations and assets, for example, motorized and non-motorized equipment, associated with multiple entities, are provided. The OME dynamically receives asset data from the tracking device and operating parameters of the assets from one or more sensors in real time. The OME dynamically determines multiple data elements, for example, location, asset status, operating status, asset proximity to asset requirement, etc., associated with each asset by processing logical combinations of the asset data and the operating parameters, based on which the OME determines actions associated with the assets to be executed. The OME generates an interactive, graphical map interface that renders a visual representation of the assets, a geography containing the assets, associated operations, and the data elements in real time for real-time monitoring and facilitating execution of the actions.

Abstract: A vehicle management system includes electric vehicles and a server. The electric vehicles each include a first calculator and a navigator. The server includes a transceiver, a manager, a second calculator, and a charging processor. The manager is configured to manage group data of the electric vehicles traveling in a group. The second calculator is configured to calculate a traveling route along which a charging facility is set as a stopover point, based on a destination and cruising distances. The charging processor is configured to determine a charging priority of the electric vehicles traveling in the group when a traveling distance from a current position of one or more of the electric vehicles to the charging facility is within a predetermined traveling distance, and guide, to the charging facility, one or more of the electric vehicles chargeable at the charging facility, based on the determined charging priority.

Abstract: A delivery approval apparatus includes a microprocessor and a memory. The microprocessor is configured to perform: acquiring a position information of a user who has requested the predetermined service; acquiring a position information of the vehicle parked at a delivery place; receiving an agreement signal agreeing on a service result of the predetermined service and transmitted from a user terminal used by the user; and when the agreement signal is received, detecting a relative position of the user with respect to the vehicle, based on the position information of the user and a most previous position information of the vehicle, and when the user is located within a predetermined range from the vehicle, determining that the vehicle is delivered to the user to approve a completion of the predetermined service.
