    Abstract: A delivery approval apparatus includes a microprocessor and a memory. The microprocessor is configured to perform: acquiring a position information of a user who has requested the predetermined service; acquiring a position information of the vehicle parked at a delivery place; receiving an agreement signal agreeing on a service result of the predetermined service and transmitted from a user terminal used by the user; and when the agreement signal is received, detecting a relative position of the user with respect to the vehicle, based on the position information of the user and a most previous position information of the vehicle, and when the user is located within a predetermined range from the vehicle, determining that the vehicle is delivered to the user to approve a completion of the predetermined service.

    Abstract: A vehicle control system to provide driving assistance for a vehicle include a plurality of sensors and circuitry. The plurality of sensors captures one or more signals associated with the vehicle. The circuitry identifies a trigger input to change a current operation mode of the vehicle to a teleoperation mode of the vehicle. The circuitry further transmits, in the teleoperation mode, the captured one or more signals to a teleoperation server of a plurality of teleoperation servers. The circuitry further receives, in the teleoperation mode, one or more vehicular instructions from the teleoperation server based on the transmitted one or more signals. The circuitry further controls, in the teleoperation mode, at least one component of the vehicle based on the received one or more vehicular instructions to control movement of the vehicle.

    Abstract: The systems and methods are generally directed to remote control of a vehicle by multiple operators. The vehicle is traveling on a roadway parsed into a plurality of segments including a first segment and a second segment. The method includes receiving vehicle data. The method includes assigning a set of one or more operators of the plurality of operators to each segment of the plurality of segments. The plurality of operators includes a first set of operators assigned to the first segment and second set of operators assigned to the second segment. The method includes identifying a control shift region having a first boundary and a second boundary. The method includes selectively shifting control from the first set of operators to the second set of operators upon reaching the first boundary such that the first set of operators and the second set of operators exert shared control in the control shift region.

    Abstract: According to one aspect, driver management is provided. One or more speech segments of a driver of an autonomous vehicle may be recorded. A position, a destination, or a previous destination of a driver or an autonomous vehicle may be tracked. An estimated state of the driver may be determined based on one or more of the speech segments, the position, the destination, or the previous destination, and a calendar event associated with the driver or a passenger of the autonomous vehicle. Autonomous driving features may be automatically enabled, disabled, or operation of the autonomous vehicle may be enabled or disabled in different modes based on the estimated state of the driver. Additionally, notifications may be displayed, rideshare applications may be launched, or warnings may be sent based on the estimated state of the driver.

    Abstract: A conversation recognition system on board a vehicle includes an acoustic sensor component that detects sound in a cabin of the vehicle, a voice recognition component coupled to the acoustic sensor component that analyzes the sound detected by the acoustic sensor component and identifies a plurality of utterances, and a conversation threading unit coupled to the voice recognition component that analyzes the utterances identified by the voice recognition component and identifies a plurality of conversations between a plurality of occupants of the vehicle. The conversation recognition system enables multiple conversations in an environment to be recognized and distinguished from each other.
