Abstract: A taxi vehicle that autonomously transports a user to a destination with no driver in the vehicle includes a cleaning device and a notification device. The cleaning device is configured to perform cleaning processing for removing at least one of harmful materials and odors from a vehicle cabin after the user has finished using the taxi vehicle. The harmful materials are those harmful to a human body. The notification device is configured to notify a person of the cleaning degree of the vehicle cabin. The person is a person outside the vehicle who wishes to use the vehicle.

Abstract: In one example of the disclosure, identify data indicative of identity of a user of a mobile device is obtained. Route data indicative of a set of routes provided by a travel provider is obtained. Movement data indicative of movement of the mobile device is obtained from the mobile device. The movement data was determined utilizing a geolocational recognition component at the mobile device without reference to infrastructure of the travel provider. A journey taken by the user and a charge for the journey are determined based upon the identity data, the movement data, and the route data. Journey data indicative of the journey and charge data indicative of the charge are provided to the mobile device for presentation.

Abstract: In biometric ticketing, physical token-less ticketing system using biometrics, a person may be identified using a digital representation of a biometric. Ticketing information may be ascertained based on the identification. The ticketing information may be provided, actions may be performed using the ticketing information, and so on. In some implementations, a checkpoint device receives biometric data from a person. A digital representation of the biometric data is used to obtain an identifier from an identification system. The digital representation of the biometric data may not be included in the identifier. The identifier is used by to obtain ticketing information from a ticketing system. The person may be allowed or denied entry into a ticketed area based on the ticketing information.

Abstract: A management system for a Permitting Authorities (PA) or their appointed designee to monitor and track application-based commercial ground transportation (ABCT) providers activities within electronically-enabled geo-fenced areas associated with the PAs, all without the need for specialized hardware such as transponders or other tracking equipment. ABCT Providers transmit location and/or transaction information for ABCT Vehicles within geo-fenced areas associated with the PAs to a clearinghouse. The clearinghouse parses the location and/or transaction information to identify the corresponding PA. The clearinghouse transmits the received information to the corresponding PAs in near real-time and periodically creates invoices for each PA based on the activities taken place within the respective goes-fenced areas.
