摘要: The present disclosure describes techniques of processing video. The techniques comprise obtaining a video to be transcoded, the video comprising a plurality of frames; setting a test object in each of the plurality of frames of the video to be transcoded; transcoding the video using a predetermined video transcoding mechanism and obtaining the transcoded video; extracting a test object from each of a plurality of frames of the transcoded video; and determining a transcoding result based at least in part on the test object extracted from each of the plurality of frames of the transcoded video.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a method of processing a sequence of image frames to reduce its length. One implementation may involve extracting coefficients (e.g., Discrete Cosine Transform coefficients) from components of individual frames, and comparing the resulting coefficients for sequential frames to identify frames having the least change from a prior frame. Also, scene change values for each frame may be calculated and placed in a sorted list to facilitate identification of frames for removal. Frame removal may be conducted in rounds, where a group of pictures (GOP) may only have one frame removed for any given round.

A particular content segment can include a plurality of versions, where each version includes a different formatting characteristic. For example, the plurality of versions can include a high bit rate version, a medium bitrate version, and a low bitrate version. The system can store one of the versions of the content segment. When a user requests the content segment in a version other than the stored version, the system can retrieve the stored version from storage, and can encode the version of the content segment to generate or replicate the requested version of the content segment.

A decoding apparatus for decoding coded data includes a header decoder that decodes supplemental enhancement information of a deep learning post-filter from the coded data, an attribute image decoder that decodes an attribute image from the coded data, and an attribute image filter unit that performs filtering processing of the attribute image, wherein the header decoder decodes objective information indicating that the attribute image filter unit is to perform filtering processing on the attribute image.

In a representative aspect, a method for video processing includes performing a first determination whether a luma video block of a video is coded using a matrix based intra prediction (MIP) mode; performing a second determination that the luma video block is applicable for determining a chroma intra mode for a current chroma video block of the video; performing, based on the first determination and the second determination, a third determination about the chroma intra mode to be used for the current chroma video block; and performing, based on the third determination, a conversion between the current chroma video block and a bitstream representation of the current chroma video block.

摘要: In some embodiments, a method receives a file for transcoding. A timing requirement is associated with the transcoding of the file. The method generates a prediction of a timing estimation based on characteristics of the file and a set of target configurations. A target configuration in the set of target configurations is associated with a transcoding setting. The timing estimation is analyzed for the set of target configurations and the timing requirement to determine a transcoding configuration of a transcoding system. The transcoding configuration of the transcoding system is output to configure the transcoding system to transcode the file. The file is to be transcoded using at least a portion of the set of target configurations based on configuring of the transcoding system.
