摘要： An encoder calculates an indication to a previous reference picture having temporal identity of zero. The encoder creates a first set of indicators to the previous reference picture, to all reference pictures in a first reference picture set of the previous reference picture, and to all pictures following the previous reference picture in decoding order and precede the current picture in decoding order. The encoder sets a flag for picture order count cycle, when a long term reference picture (LTRP) has least significant bits (LSBs) of a picture order count, for which more than one picture in the first set share same value of the LSBs of picture order count as the LTRP. The decoder obtains LSB of a picture order count for a LTRP in a reference picture set of the current picture. The decoder concludes non-compliant bitstream based on indications provided by the flag.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to an apparatus, an encoder, a decoder and corresponding methods for prediction refinement with optical flow (PROF) for an affine coded block, in which when a plurality of optical flow decision conditions are fulfilled for the affine coded block, performing a PROF process for a current sub-block of the affine coded block to obtain refined prediction sample values of the current sub-block of the affine coded block. After the sub-block based affine motion compensation is performed, a prediction sample value of the current sample of the current sub-block is refined by adding a delta prediction value. Thus, it allows for a better trade-off between coding complexity and prediction accuracy.

The filter includes a first set of multipliers and a first set of offsets for the first block, and a second set of multipliers and a second set of offsets for the second block. The values of the pixels in the first block and the second block are changed by performing multiplication with each multiplier in the first set of multipliers, by performing multiplication with each multiplier in the second set of multipliers, and by using the first set of offsets and the second set of offsets.

A method includes receiving a bitstream obtained by encoding the image; dividing a first coding block into a plurality of second coding blocks; generating a prediction block of a second coding block based on syntax information obtained from the bitstream; and reconstructing the second coding block based on the prediction block and a residual block of the second coding block, the residual block being obtained by performing a dequantization and an inverse-transform on quantized transform coefficients from the bitstream. The first coding block has a recursive division structure. The first coding block is divided based on at least one of a quad tree division, a binary tree division or a triple tree division.

The method includes generating a predicted image of the encoding target block using motion information of the selection block. The method includes encoding a prediction error between the predicted image and an original image. The method includes encoding selection information identifying the selection block by referring to a code table decided according to a number of the available block.
